reality is while the government are doling out free tests they are likely to be chinese cheap ****e.

There is a massive market elsewhere, where a free government test wont be an option, Travel, entertainment, sports etc

@marik when you order your free lateral flow test from the gov website, what do you get?

I get an NHS branded box with "made in China" on the side of it...

It is a sad fact though that all the excitement over the government now pushing lateral flow tests is pointless because they are pushing Chinese lateral flow tests not British ones
