10p tomorrow!!! Ha Ha joke!! Oil - a temporary blip, it will bounce back, I don't fear a bloodbath tomorrow. Most of the flaky investors were shaken off on the way down from 38p. It's more a case of a shed load of investors looking to get back in cheaply. (Mostly those spreading doom and gloom on here today)! Even if this does dip it will bounce straight back up to around this level at least. Long term investors will continue to buy at low prices to average down and everyone will jump on a bargain. I shall remain steady. Rahul has something up his sleeve to reward those of us who stand firm. Well I really hope so anyway! I would love a nice shorters bonfire tomorrow as Olivia bounces back at the same time as some good news for Tullow! Let me exist in my own world for another 15 hrs or so, it's lovely in here :)
I think we will get a lot more info tomorrow from Rahul. I think he is a shrewd operator. He wants this share price to hit 50p as much as any of us because of his share options. I'd rather slow, steady and honest than lots of unrealised promises and adjustments as we've seen in the past.
Surely we are getting near to short closing territory. Ah the temporary relief of wishful thinking! I am 0.01p away from loosing money on my original investment in Tullow some months ago. I've watched all that profit go as it's slipped down from 38p! I feel like I am standing on the brink....!
Great article thank you. A good discovery in Suriname and BAM! It won't take a lot to send the SP up and Suriname could be massive for us. I am quietly confident about tomorrow. It's Rahul's moment to shine. He has got the bad news out of the way in July and the SP took a hit because of it. I am all in hoping for the best. I still think Tullow can pull there way out of this with their strategy to get their debt down. There is an element of red or black but let's not forget, fortune favours the brave...!
Any thoughts on how we may fair on the 9th? Hoping Uganda sale info lands before then followed by a positive update with some inspiring vision setting from Rahul.... Surely the bad news communicated is already reflected in our SP!?!?
'If this follows the general pattern of the last couple of weeks it will slowly drift down all day from this point and finish around 21:20 regardless of any other factors! I hope by saying it I will be wrong, it will finish up and all of us invested will have at least one day to breathe a sigh of relief!'
Don't you just hate a told you so, 0.02p out so predictable. Ever get that feeling you are going down with a ship in slow motion? Holding on but with no conviction right now.

Transaction delay
"The Independent understands the delay to approve the transaction has been caused by what Robert Kasande, the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development referred to as a “multi-institutional” review of the deal."

Two weeks has passed so if this has indeed been approved as the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development stated to the Independent was pretty much a formality then surely this is in the bag by now. Tullow's CEO announcing it ahead of results would hugely help the SP at this point. I am just hoping they are holding on to this as good news but now would be a great time to share it....
Kasande told The Independent on Aug.6 that he is positive that the government will approve the transaction within a “maximum of two weeks.”
Slift, I hope that confirmation comes asap. It feels like the vultures are circling. Could they be keeping the announcement of the completion of the Uganda sale for the 7/9 or is that not the done thing? With the share price dropping despite the rise in oil price, hedging, Uganda sale etc etc etc I am feeling really out of my depth here mentally. Nothing seems to make any sense with Tullow at the moment. Getting paranoid that everyone else has inside information that I will find out when it's too late!
'I am hoping Rahul cuts through all the nonsense. I hope Total CEO joins him in the Kenya discussions.'
Hope.... it's what investing is built upon. Lets 'hope' the interim results are very positive, well worded and hope building because to loose 25% on this share price as it is (like Premier Oil) will just about finish us off!
Slift we missed you. Where were you in our time of need?!? We needed your cool calm, measured, informative and reassuring words this afternoon that there is hope! Is this collapse your fault? Did you sell up last week without telling us? Are you still invested? So many trivial questions to ask you :)
Tullow goes up marginally with Brent increases and drops like a bomb on decreases. Terrible week. Let's hope next week brings some respite for those truly invested in this. GLA I hope you have a good weekend.
'Bouncing back nicely - heading for a blue day'
Optimistic but I hope you are right. I have spent far too much time looking at this share the last couple of days and despite using all of my Jedi mind tricks I couldn't will the SP up!
Over 42 million trades on PMO and over 15 mil on Tullow. Lots of people playing the two shares and making lots of money while long term inverstors watch on nervously taking a hit! Shell B share trades are at 3million today. Thats why this is a risky share...!
Still holding this share despite the pain! All oilers are on a slide with the massive unknown of Covid recovery and we have tracked 10p less than Premier Oil for some time now. Asset sale news will jump this back up, the interim results should be solid and see an increase, the hedging is buying Tullow time and they are making good money. A confirmed vaccine will add 20-30% immediately. I am still expecting to see 35-50p this side of Christmas if we see some signs of getting Covid under control. Otherwise it will take longer and that's fine for me, I am in no rush. I've increased my shareholding by 10% by doing little trades over the past month never pulling too much out to trade (Gamble, lets be honest) but I remain committed to the Tullow, I'm all in with this one. So many people waiting on the side lines waiting to jump back in and not wanting to miss out and lots of shorts still to close. All in my humble opinion.
