Yes you are right but that was a decision made based on uncertainty, they are still lending to key workers ( payment holidays haven’t helped).

But in October the fca will see if amigo have done enough to halt the investigation against them, meaning no further legal action will be taken.

On august the first Glenn is back, I image the prise will rise due to this.

At some point the fca will allow Amigo to lend freely again, as it’s clear the board are working fast to clear the back log of complaints, I images the price will rise again.

And undoubtedly the prodigal son we return !!!JB obviously
(If the board fails) , and the share price will rise.

I personally think someone else is in the pipeline renewed confidence with vp share purchases and all.

Yes jb back would be great for the share price, as you know news is key to prise rises or falls.

But you are presuming no one on the board currently could do as good a job, I mean why did they get voted in to start with .( they haven’t had it easy)

Big investors can smell a bargain a mile off, the amount of interest in this share and people followIng its progress is unreal, you know there’s people watching and waiting for the time to be right then bang back up.

Sorry silly rant, the universal credit section of that post didn’t make sense, what I was meaning was a lot of people; for example self employed earning over 50 k ( not a lot if you are paying for vehicles equipment so on and so forth)did not receive a penny of furlough funds and had to go TEMPORARILY go on to universal credits, again temporarily being the point!!!! Assuming that person had poor credit Amigo could have helped.

I think Amigo are victims, certain mps don’t like what they stand for, and are listening to these little fraudsters complaints.
But get this they are wrong and the fca are wrong.
This is why ; I’m 37 years old I earn roughly £40000 a year I have savings and shares?? And no debt at all, also my Experian score is 969 excellent, I’ve just went on moneysupermarket comparing loans no ones lending at any good rates ffs I had a 60% acceptance on loan that was over 60% apr And others that were 0% acceptance ?????
So for example I wonder how a family with poor credit on for example universal credits would fare ???(and there they are the ones that need the money)

Amigo would have really helped out over lockdown and seen people through the hard times.

Of course any company is going to take you to court if you don’t pay, if I loaned a friend money with a written agreement and they didn’t pay I would take them to court .

Yes but none of those other companies required a guarantor, surely if The guarantor meets the credit requirements that all that matters??
Technically he/she (the guarantor) is the person responsible for that loan as explained clearly in the contract, if you are dumb enough to be a guarantor you suffer the consequences???

Wonga we not a guarantor company and had a apr of nearly 6000%?? I appreciate your answer but I’m my eyes I can’t see how you can compare the two, especially with amigo 49% apr .

I read a article the other day about a couple paying for ivf treatment with an amigo loan, lucky it works and they now have a family; no one else would offer them credit ??

Even if you have averagely good credit go on money supermarket and look for a loan ???
It’s not a terrible apr ??
