It's a very fair comment Quitefrankly, but, it's actually really nothing new for Greatland Gold, or probably many other shares. Going back over several years now, it was not unusual for the previous CEO, Gervaise Heddle, to say that, "the market doesn't understand", or "the market doesn't get it". These were all relating to drilling assays at Havieron. The researched could see where it was going (and we still do, of course!), but the share price would often still fall back after very positive results.

That said, it will come. It's just a case of when, but I do understand the frustration. Many of us have gone through it at several points in the past. GLA

Australia’s largest gold producer, Newcrest Mining (ASX: NCM) and joint venture partner Greatland Gold (LON: GGP) said latest drill results from their Havieron gold-copper project continue to support the potential for resource expansion.

Newcrest has completed 164,420 metres of drilling from 190 holes to date, with all the latest ones returning further high-grade extensions to the South East Crescent zone of Havieron, in the Paterson region of Western Australia.

Results so far show high-grade intercepts below the December 2020 initial inferred mineral resource shell in the South East Crescent Zone and adjacent Breccia Zones, and around the Northern Breccia.

Newcrest managing director Sandeep Biswas described the results as exciting.

“These results highlight the potential for significant high-grade depth extension of the South East Crescent zone,” he said in a statement.

“With each new set of excellent intercepts, we demonstrably advance the potential size and value of the gold-copper orebody at Havieron,” Greatland Gold chief executive, Shaun Day, said in a separate release.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but there have been various pieces about the Canaccord broker report, and this gives some more detail:

Greatland Gold PLC (LON:GGP) is unique amongst London-listed gold stocks, according to broker Canaccord Genuity, which today kicks off its coverage of the mining share with a ‘speculative buy’ recommendation.

It has been a strong performing share on AIM nonetheless with a price target of 25p the broker suggests some 25% of further upside to the current price. Meanwhile, analyst Sam Catalano highlights a number of possible value catalysts that may push the price further....

I have to agree. It was indeed a poor presentation by both.

In the last 2 hours only 133,000 shares sold and over 2.5 million bought, and we're still showing down 4.8%.

Well, the last 1.1/2 hours has been pretty much all buys according to ADVFN. It's going to be interesting to see how this all pans out later...

Yes, patience is required. The great factor for many months now, is that the GGP sp is underpinned, and then some, and indeed ever increasingly so, by Havieron alone.

Let's not forget, as many seem to, the other tenements and drilling taking place.

Although I'm not going to get overexcited about the likes of Goliath, and/or the other current targets, but, should we hit valuable mineralisation there, we could easily be on a Havieron 'rinse & repeat'. Same for the likes of Scallywag. There is something there, it's just a case of finding it!

Greatland Gold (AIM:GGP), the precious metals exploration company, provided an update on Thursday regarding the ongoings at the Havieron gold-copper project in the Paterson region of Western Australia.

Drilling activities since the previous report include new results from the current Growth Drilling programme. The latest results from this programme has seen seven new drill holes.....

Newcrest has now completed a total of 164,420m of drilling from 190 holes to date, with all the latest holes continuing to intersect significant mineralisation.

Greatland Gold plc's (LON:GGP) most recent exploration update shows the company is advancing the potential size and value of the gold-copper orebody at its Havieron project.

Chief executive officer Shaun Day tells Proactive London that every time the explorer drills at Haveiron it hits really good mineralisation. "Seven holes. Seven good intercepts," says Day, gives the team and shareholders confidence about "the continuity and the continuation of grade in this ore body." He's also confident that Greatland will deliver the pre-feasability study in the second half of 2021.

The Havieron project is operated by Newcrest under a Joint Venture Agreement with Greatland and Day adds: We've got this beautiful opportunity to have a low risk start up with an incumbent operator."

Exploration activities have commenced with an initial program designed to drill test the Goliath, Outamind and Los
Diablos targets in the Paterson Range East area. An initial scout drill program has been completed at the Goliath
target with assay results pending. Subsequent work programs, including drilling, will also focus on the Parlay target
within the Black Hills Project.

It shouldn't be too long now for the Goliath scout drilling.

@ Bertiesboy I agree 100%. I don't know why so many people appear to be upset at the rating. I've never really got too hung up on sp numbers because there are so many other issues determining them. IMHO, they're saying pretty much what many posters on this forum have been saying for some time, and, it is indeed very positive looking forward. But, sure, we knew that already!
