BlackRock are a major holder of GGP shares, which I believe are over 60 million through their various group holdings. I believe that Van Eck are only the larger such type of holder to date.

Nice end of the day, up 1.9% at 18.70p.

Hopefully geoff! Maybe, just maybe, these new Newcrest Havieron assays, which should, from all earlier indications, be the most comprehensive so far this year, will, unlike earlier one's project the sp higher, and sustainably so.

As always, only time will tell, and, it's AIM, so nothing is ever certain, but I just have a feeling that next week will be good for us.

Indeed Canary, and often used by Gervaise Heddle too, to describe "world-class interceptions" nearly 3 years ago in the first drilling campaign, as well as Havieron having "World-Class potential" on several occasions.

IMHO, there is no doubt whatsoever, and it's showing all possibility to be a one, maybe two generational find as well!

Miramar Resources Ltd (ASX:M2R) has pinpointed a suite of large Whaleshark Project targets for follow-up exploration following a soil sampling program at the project in Western Australia's Gascoyne region.

The new multi-element anomalies, which could be associated with bedrock mineralisation, appears similar to that observed over the recently discovered Havieron gold-copper deposit.

mickey, I purely stated what SB said last week. If SB said September I don't remember it. Maybe you can post a link? If he did say it, then it was before last week and, as we know things and timelines often change. Anyway, clearly, only time will tell. TT

Greatland Gold’s first results from its Juri joint venture in the Paterson province in Western Australia has made an encouraging start with gold identified in assays from the first four holes.

SP Angel noted that the initial drilling at Juri intersected gold mineralisation at both the Saddle Reef and Goliath targets.

Newcrest is again Greatland’s partner in the exploration programme, the same combination that is developing the huge gold find at Havieron also in the Paterson region.

The initial drilling totalled 4,958m testing five targets in nine holes with assay results pending for a further five drill holes.

The company is planning a programme of ground electro-magnetic geophysics during September to narrow down future targets.

Results from the remaining drill holes at Los Diablos, Parlay and Saddle Reef and sections of the Outamind are expected next month.

Shares were 18.5p, valuing the Aussie-focused miner at around £700mln.

Thanks for your great post, and all of the clear research that wen't with it. Although I entered the GGP club with my first buy @ 0.65p I didn't post on LSE, but ADVFN.

Like so many others, we wen't through numerous market changes, but had FAITH in what, especially GH & CB were doing. I can't remember the number of times i was berated for topping up, on numerous occasions, when the GGP sp dropped. The berator's were numerous, and they're probably still around now, but probably licking their wounds!

Havieron alone is undoubtedly a once, maybe twice or more mother lode. There is no doubt in my mind of that, whatsoever.

Add to that the possibility of another major find on our other tenements throughout the region, and you have something that most of us know is very special indeed!
