Gold major Newcrest Mining has used the Diggers & Dealers conference, in Kalgoorlie, to hunt for new exploration opportunities.

Speaking on the first day of the conference, GM for exploration Fraser MacCorquodale said that the company was looking for more gold opportunities in Australia and was using the conference to hunt for potential partners...

....MacCorquodale said that Newcrest was hoping to joint venture (JV) on the next potential Havieron, a current JV with Greatland Gold, in which Newcrest currently holds a 70% interest. The company is expected to take a decision shortly on acquiring a further 5% interest in Havieron for A$60-million....

Yes, often true alreadyinuse, but hopefully, always (but often not) based on results, and I have no issue with that at all.

However, the problem, even in that, is that some shareholders, when the positive results come, just moan anyway!

Personally, I just don't understand this recent absorption from some posters about GGP Director buys.

Maybe they will, and maybe they won't. Like anyone else they will be making their own investment decisions, based on their own life.

Sure, a director buy of, probably, not a whole load of shares, may be a positive act, but, personally, I don't need that to know where we're going anyway!
