IMHO, Shaun Day, and the whole team, should be congratulated for how they've handled this, from start to finish!

Greatland Gold’s Shaun Day joins Elisha Newell in the Proactive studio to highlight an increase in the Havieron project’s independently assessed value, which lifted the asset's value 5.3 times above original assumptions. The decision will be material in joint venture negotiations, where Newcrest Mining holds the option to acquire an additional 5% of the Havieron project. Havieron’s value was recently underscored by a 50% increase in the mineral resource and ore reserves, with more bulk mining areas set to be incorporated into the mineral estimate.

Thanks James! Yes, amazing isn't it! Those FUD spreaders who rarely post, but stay up all night to see the latest results, just so that they can do their wicked deed! As we all know, and have forever, just ignore them!

Much as expected! As as stated clearly yesterday, "IMHO, just don't expect too much!"

I just can't understand some posters who don't appear to have understood the J/V agreement terms & conditions for the 5% FMV. The agreement was made at a time well before we knew how massive Havieron is already now, let alone what it will be in future!

As for Shaun Day, it's been patently clear for well over a year now how he personally felt about the legacy issues, and which he's confirmed many times in his media presentations and Q&A's with shareholders.

It's basically a done deal, bar the ink drying.

We have no control on it! Time to move on...

HOWEVER, the remaining 25% is a completely different matter, as we should all know, and which we DO have control on!

I haven't had time to research, but I seem to remember that the day before the last results, we saw a 'manipulated' decline in the GGP sp, no doubt, IMHO, so that good results (inevitable!) wouldn't take the sp too high!

Anyone that thinks that this isn't being manipulated is living on another planet to me!

@ daveri007. I generally agree...The 5% FMV was agreed well before Shaun Day's tenure as MD.

Although we don't know the full terms & conditions of the agreement, it's been pretty clear to me, also added to by Shaun Day's relatively recent interviews/Q&A's, that there is probably very little wriggle room in the negotiations.

In conclusion, IMHO, just don't expect too much!

As others have stated, it does seem a little strange having another Q&A session, especially on the same platform. It's almost as if Shaun Day is dropping a hint to shareholders! I'm maybe completely off the mark, but, in my experience, the more you get to know people, the more you can hopefully read where they're coming from...OK, could be complete nonsense, but purely a personal view at this time.

It could be a very interesting day tomorrow, requiring being alert throughout the day, for possible updated news (RNS)!

The problem then, also, is what is NCM's view, and their actions, after the 5% FMV is agreed? Because, undoubtedly, IMHO. they are going to want to take over Havieron 100%. Will this continue to affect their reporting?

I couldn't agree more on that point zoros! Anyone can come up with very pleasing numbers, which, BTW, I have no issue with generally, as I'm pretty damn sure we'll get there anyway, even if it takes time for NCM to put their 'stamp' on them!

Let's be honest, we've seen it too, with posts on here about the first scallywag assays. People talking about amazing potential findings, with just too much hype, IMHO.

We'll get there! It's mining, for goodness sake, and it takes time!
