Incorrectly stated mate , I only state the shorts closing & illustrate the short via the triple trade only when the a short closes on that session or period .
( noted two sessions last week No shorting action )

I also note when shorts increase hence the stock on loan I post every couple of days - updates.

Some of those 18.03 million ( current total ) will be perhaps ii hedging against longs .
The small daily cfd & shorts under a certain % are not included in that total I believe but glad to be corrected .
The shorts open are tiny % of free float ,
however the toxic noise attached to trading agenda is load & perhaps cfd traders rather than ii in the thin volume .
