Going to take this small exploration company to be a major miner.

We are going BIG. Of that there is no doubt.
The press release yesterday must have been the stimulous for the SP reaction.
So let us just cut all the superfluous waffle - this is our CEO making factual , data backed, confident statements as to our future.No argument. I did not need my faith restoring. I have had faith now for over 5 years. But if I di need it to be restored, then this would have done it in spades.

Good to see that POG is trending north - around $$1745 atm - still slightly erratic , but as Basel3 comes ever ominously closer, then we should see it start to break some new highs.

...like my good friend Peter Alliss. Those who watched the program on BBC4 last night should appreciate my comments. Very sad to lose him. I could relate one or two stories that he has told me that the BBC would never allow. And wonderful to have something on TV that does not bore the pants off one.

@@@DGR1980 ; and is that not a process that can be considered to be " manipulation ". A deliberate , non market , adjustment to create a certain effect.
Certainly ,lots of other shares show zigzag, - that comes naturally from the spread - usually wider amongst the AIM shares. But GGP is always flat and does not reflect buy / sell volume differentials and trend, current and potential news , known longer term certainties, .
But it will soon change. You can only suppress a pressure cooker for so long .
But......... Patience ..........mittzundapaddybum for a little while longer.

@@@ Jack;I speak only from the experience of 65 years of personal investing, an investing bank manager father ,whose best man founded one of the top 3 stockbroker companies in the UK.
Certainly did not happen in the old days, but then computerised/online investing did not exist then.
Intraday charts - what were those.
My father (getting some superb tips ) used to make around £50-00 to £250-00 profit a year that paid for all of our splendid post war holidays. When I get to heaven and tell my Dad how much I made between Jan 2020 and Jan 2021, he will laugh his socks off and send me down to hell for telling lies.

@@@ Jack ; Totally regular drumbeat is not regulated by Buy / Sell. Just like the close of play shift from a daily high of 19. 40p zooming up to 19.75p at close of play. That is a manipulated adjustment, just as the daylong cap of 19.40 is a manipulated suppression. It is not a free market , demand influenced movement.

Through all the last 10 weeks or so of deliberately constructed GGP pricing, nowhere has the SP been more deliberately squeezed between the Top and Bottom on the Intraday Chart - High /Low - tight between 19p and 19.40p , patterned like a concertina , than it has been today. I cannot visualise any normally reasoned trading pattern that would perform naturally to that drumbeat regular zigzag , without the controlling influence of some outside force dominating the pattern.
It is sad that " THEY " who do this do not come within a more disciplined and regulated authority.
This does not reflect a free trading market.
Perhaps if anyone is aware of the name, address , telephone number of such an authority, this board could exercise (as they are all in fashion at the moment, ) a written peaceful protest. If we do not act, then who will.

@@@ Bablake : Why worry. None of us have a clue what will happen.
What I do know is that GGP is still in the hands of competent and ambitious people who are not going dump a huge prospect in the waste bin.
They have only just restarted the drilling season , and the future will depend on what comes up in the cores. That will take time,.
Hypothesise for all you are worth - but we do own 100% of minus nothing or 100% of a huge amount, and if it is the later, - ??? mine it, sell it , JV it , whatever. It does not matter other than putting more £££'s on the SP.
Have patience and sleep easy at night.

I believe a lot of us have been quietly waiting for Speedy's forecasts for POG to start climbing the ladder. $$$1750 was assumed to be a benchmark 1st step up . Countries starting to stockpile will generate ( hopefully ) others to pile in , and we could then be looking at $$$2000 plus mark in no time.
Any thoughts Speedy , or might this just be a false spike ? We all KNOW that it is going to happen sometime soon, and GGP should not be slow to reflect the long term POG trend.

Great to see POG breaking the mythical $$$1750 barrier. let us hope that this will be the spur to rocketing up to the next benchmark of $$$1800.
However - to h**l with GGP for four days. Time to settle down and watch Rory or Justin take the green blazer. And some beautiful azaleas to look at.

I have never read a more inaccurate and unresearched load of rubbish than this latest so called report on GGP.
Covid does affect the general market , and that affects the commodity market.
Commodity price movement on share price has little effect as all company and broker calculations are done on significantly reduced commodity price basis.
In GGPs case - Au @ $1400 per oz.
Your writer fails totally to recognise any of the other major GGP assessed prospects or its Juri 1 JV with NCM.
Your writer seems unaware that W. Australia / The Paterson / Panorama , is developing as one of the globes most underexplored but prospective discovery on the globe and GGP owns mining rights to numerous potential Tier 1 opportunities.
Your writer ignores not only the future trend of the POG, but also huge rising demand for CU with a reducing supply, and similar trends in other commodities - nickel, cobalt, etc.
Your writer ignores the almost unique situation for GGP / Havieron , where they have with their JV arrangement with NCM, an already fully constructed mine processing facility desperate for continuity of ore supply. Also available for processing from several other GGP Tier 1 prospects in the future.
Your writer totally ignores the fact that the early MRE for Havieron of 4.2 M oz AU and CU equivalent at this stage ignores the huge future potential , already known , for the probable 4 or 5 times resource size when current step out drills in all directions and at depth are completed in the next few months.
It is because of this that the SP spiked initially due to PI and early II buying demand. Having followed a forecastable settling back, it will shortly resume an upward trend north as further assay results come in , and are confirmed in the September PFS. Further drill results due to arrive shortly from other GGP prospects are also likely to accelerate this trend.
It would make sense if The Motley Fool took more care with some of the material that it publishes, and in the selection of its writers.

@@@ Speedy, Good news .It is always an encouraging sign when a CEO is in communication with his loyal shareholders. The 1oz gold medallion / ingot on first pour seems to have caught their imagination, and looks to be a goer. If it is, I would imagine that it would capture some media interest. I look forward to discussing with you at the next Stag Meet. I reckon that if you are in continuing contact, you should invite him to our next meet .I will get Fred to put him on our circulation list .
May the sun continue to shine, and I will pray for a haircut,- may have to sell a few shares to get one.

As you are someone I trust implicitly, I have now sold all of my 15 million holdings, donated it to the local cats home as they are going to look after my Crumpet, and I have booked a cell in an Augustinian monastery in the Orkneys , where I will be spending my final days in prayer and contemplation.

@@@ Freddie, - You may yourself perceive the SXX board as being similar to this board, but I can only perceive that your observations are somewhat flawed.
AND - quite apart from that, the SXX situation was one of a company desperate to raise £billions ,and being refused either financial or political support.
WHILST here on GGP , we have a company with adequate cash resources and that would have no trouble at all if it wished to raise further finance, sitting on the actual and proverbial goldmine.

.....is not that difficult. I employ a superb accountant called Mr Bamps, a hugely regarded money man who seems to understand gold mining in all its dimensions, and who has an excellent grouping of back up staff, miners, geologists, etc . who check his figures and advise. Far more informed than some of the brokers who produce over cautious reports , terrified of being criticised.
The Havieron / Mr Bamps valuation is still well understated as even he only
calculates on the known dimensions of the prospect, when we all know that there is oodles more gold and copper at step out width / length / depth, but that still has to be officially agreed.
Mr Bamps does not at the moment speculate beyond approx. 16M ozs. But we know that this is almost certainly going to be nearly double that amount. , and have to be patient and await the confirmatory drill results.
The drilling season is now accelerating away at speed, and these drill results will soon be appearing.
The big confirmation will arrive later in the the year with the PFS statements.
As to valuing the rest of GGP, for the time being it matters little. But it will build the company in coming months and years. And as for PM prices on the near horizon,- my PM consultant,- Professor Martin Auric Goldfinger Speedy keeps me in touch with this incalcuable dimension.
Whilst I am as frustrated as everyone else with the current SP manipulations, it will not be long to wait now.
Patience. Mittzundapaddybum. Spring is nearly here. The celebratory Stag Gang gathering is only a few weeks away. There will be much to raise a tankard to.
