Spire rejected Mediclinic offer in October 2017 of £1.355 per share!! They said, “significantly undervalues Spire and its prospects”. Here we are, £1.85. It is dropping like a stone!

I’m just wonder why they declined the £135 offer!!! They did not have a good plan!!
Not only they should be resign, they should feel ashamed!!

Rolls-Royce said it had identified mechanical problem in another type of aircraft engine and would have to carry out more inspections. The company had already warned of durability issue affecting the Intermediate Pressure Compressor in Trent 1000 engines, known as Package C engines. A similar issue had now been identified on a small number of high life Package B engines. 'We have therefore agreed with Boeing and the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out a one-off inspection of our Trent 1000 Package B fleet, to further inform our understanding,' the company said. The Package B standard had been in service since 2012 and consisted of 166 engines. Rolls-Royce said the additional inspection requirements would incur some extra cost. However, it said its understanding of the Package C service impact and 'mitigating actions we continue to take across the group' allowed it to stick to its fiscal 2018 free cash-flow guidance of �450m plus or minus �100m.

Takeda managements will be forced on the street soon to look for a job! And, the rest is history!

Shire shareholders are supposed to receive 2273p in cash and 2566p in share. However, currently Takeda SP is dropping like a stone due to shareholders are not happy with Takeda-shire deal. If th deal goes through with current Takeda SP value. Will it affect Shire shareholders the amount of CASH and SHARE were supposed to receive? Apart from Takeda might be afford to pay.

If nowdays closing some of the shops and redundancy can rise SP by 60 percent in 3 days...every struggling business should scale down for better Mcap!!!

�331 million Right Issue

I�m just curious, IF there is a RI tomorrow, what is going to happen with the short positions?

I�m not shorting this share but it amazes me how the SP is raising today, about 7% now! -Net dept increased to $644.7M from $555.3M. -Net after tax loss of $117.7M from profit of $35.2M. - More selling number of shares than buying. The only positive news is diamond production has increased from 2M carats to 2.2M carats, this includes the seized parcel.

I can’t see the buy volume is changing!

What is your take on that?

Some Company just reduced its holding!

Friday there was more buying then selling, and some hadge funds have closed their short positions recently. I think it is a good sign. But, I would be more interested to see the loan side, the parcel etc
