Artemic Phase 39 Mar 2021 14:12
Here is an explanation of what Phase 2 and 3 is about from the FDA website.
Phase 2:
"In Phase 2 studies, researchers administer the drug to a group of patients with the disease or condition for which the drug is being developed. Typically involving a few hundred patients, these studies aren't large enough to show whether the drug will be beneficial.
Instead, Phase 2 studies provide researchers with additional safety data. Researchers use these data to refine research questions, develop research methods, and design new Phase 3 research protocols."
Phase 3:
"Researchers design Phase 3 studies to demonstrate whether or not a product offers a treatment benefit to a specific population. Sometimes known as pivotal studies, these studies involve 300 to 3,000 participants.
Phase 3 studies provide most of the safety data. In previous studies, it is possible that less common side effects might have gone undetected. Because these studies are larger and longer in duration, the results are more likely to show long-term or rare side effects"
Only 20%-30% of phase 2 trials move into phase 3.
From MGC website:
"ArtemiC™ is a clinically tested food supplement (nutraceutical, dietary supplement, natural health product) containing four natural-based ingredients consisting of Artemisinin, Curcumin, Boswellia serrata and Vitamin C."
Artemic is a food supplement containing natural based ingredients so I would think the side effects are non existent. That leaves the effectiveness of the product against patients which has already been tested in phase 2 and Artemic had a 100% success rate.
Approximately 30% of drugs pass phase 3 trials according to FDA statistics. Phase 3 is basically a more extended test of Phase 2 for side effects and a confirmation that the product is beneficial to consumers from my understanding.
So this leaves us with not much room for failure in my opinion however we can not know until it has been confirmed.
