Costs are involved for the MM offices for each trade so little trades have to be at a premium.
I worked as a dealer on the market floor when the octagons were used and any small trade was charged outside of quoted price. Market quotes are for an up to amount and here I believe it is 200,000 normally, so the quote widens if more are being dealt. Works both ways.

UT is matched price square up by MM.

Started to in September and seems likely MM need stock.

I quite agree and hold 1/4m as a very long term investment.
Not sure why the guys here ever reply to the moaning one at all.
