How do we prise open this can of worms?
to my e-mails (two now) requesting a proper breakdown of YES/NO votes (ie actual numbers and not percentages as per previous RNS's). Is there anywhere else I can go to request this info?
Share Centre have now reversed the Consolidation applied to BHR shares this morning
Redbike, that is a very misleading list as it appears to include brokers who hold shares on behalf of shareholders. eg Share Centre hold my shares but I get the voting rights, dividends (that's a laugh), etc
Redbike, I have just e-mailed them again about the presentation of the vote figures in the RNS and included the 2 extracts from the Corporate Governance document. Not expecting a response. Please count me in for funding support of any action. Share Centre have jumped the gun and actioned the Consolidation of shares 1:1000. (received an e-mail letter this morning). I am waiting for their man to call me back to clear this up.
Red, I sent the e-mail yesterday evening...no response yet. I am not holding my breath.
It's not over till it's over. Remember that the creditors and DFI were willing to throw more money at this but wiping out us PIs in the process. They wouldn't be investing here unless there was value in it. There is still mileage in your investment.
The NAV is not really relevant here as mining assets are on the books at cost price Ie cost of purchasing the mine and any exploration costs and associated legal costs (excludes infrastructure costs). If you read the annual reports the mining assets should be worth considerably more than the book value (NPVs look great) but that assumes that we can rely on the annual reports. On NAV alone if realised in a sale you might get 0.5 p per share back. If we get subject to a takeover at market value then one could expect more than that. A fire sale of assets to pay the creditors will leave us with no more than crumbs from the table.
Can they really use 'no shows' as chairman's votes rather than abstentions? Scandalous if so.
Andy has been v quiet since the meeting. So sorry that you didn't get meaningful support in person from the rest of us PIs. Are you going to share what actually happened there today?
It ain't over yet sir. We still own 3 mines last time I looked at the accounts.
Amazed that they even managed to get 69%. When do we get to see the actual figures?
Duxi, If you placed an auto sell order you might want to take it off unless your broker understands that it is at the unconsolidated share price. You wouldn't want a Yes vote to trigger your sale because of the post consolidation price
You need to go back to 1205 on this board which is when the meeting finished. Results NOT announced at meeting; will be announced by RNS and that's all we know
Redbike, can you now advise us how you think Commerz and Pelham voted?
Duxi, set up an auto sale and don't be too greedy. LON raced to 1.4p on it's final day. I am out all day and have set up a sale at 0.5p (purely based on the NAV) just in case it does suddenly go. I don't expect it to but would not want to miss it. K
Apologies Mickdee for my very poor behaviour last night; all on short fuses here. (I 've held BHR since 2011 and have chased it all the way down). Good Luck today everybody.
No I don't know why so many placings will occur at such low values when anyone can do a dummy sale/buy to establish the true prevailing price. Please tell me. Anyway this board is like no other. There's no ramping or damping here anymore. Everyone here has been through the ringer and really not on the mood to tell anyone what one click of the mouse will tell them. Sorry but that's how it is and I really don't give a shyte on what you think of my posting record.
So I can buy today at 0.16 and participate in a rights issue at .05. We would have died for an offer like that over at Beacon Hill. Instead got rinsed by Darwin.
Patience , patience. Market capitalisation £2.8M. Net asset value $60M. Value of mines ???? The current problem here is lack of cash and seemingly no strategy to address this.........only tactical short term fixes. Need a fairy godmother!
