Now we know who to blame if it tanks, ( and to praise if it soars, I hastily add.)
Indigo. Exactly, but the investors have not had to wait the five years, it seems. They feel cheated, and are complaining. I believe from reading all the posts over more than seven years that most others beside myself have weighed the pros and cons of investing in QFI, and made a decision. Our BOD have expressed their hopes, which they have a right to do, but never lied. We may yet be proved wrong, but not proved stupid.
So my question has not yet been answered. How, in this day of massive communications, can £50 million be accumulated by crooks on the promise of %12 interest, plus more to come later?
(People sniff around for a rat when I try to sell a small item from my boat that I no longer need)
So many technical explanations, both educational and interesting, are given unstinting by posters, I’m tempted to ask if anyone can answer this.
Quoted in the Daily Telegraph.
“ attracted by the promise of 12pc annual returns and 22pc after seven years. However, ....”
I feel secure for the W/E
At Indigo
My miserable joke obviously wasn’t funny at all, but was meant to be. Really sorry about that. Didn’t think it could be taken that I could not do a better job at deramping if that was the motive.
Not going to an extreme of saying any member of our board is handsome, never once have I criticised them or any of their actions. Please let me make that very plain.
I own, for me, a large number of shares. I’ve sold once under pressure, as you yourself would have done in a similar case.
Dpsandison. By all means put my rubbish into the green folder. I will do the same with your filth
The photo published on our board showing our man and two others smiling broadly may well have been the last desperate effort at publicity of a desperate company. Two of the group may well have been characters from the local actor factory whose crummy accent didn’t matter as the photo was not required to sing.
Hope I haven’t spoilt anybody’s weekend with the real picture.
Have to disagree on this, if you don’t mind.
“ Burning MSAR over HFO releases the same carbon per unit energy but also reduces NOx emissions due to burning at a lower temperature. “
Only fair to point out that there is a trade off. The whole point of burning the fuel is to raise the temperature and therefore the pressure in the cylinder.
It’s the taste that matters. And I see it has gone fout-thirty, so we are a day nearer resolution.
There are enough of us already playing the fool, Indigo, without you misinterpreting the pallets.
From a year ago, Steve Boyle said.... “Il faut ne pas aller plus vite que la musique,” as the French might say (In French, of course)
Valkor/ Tomco / Greenfield /Petroteq are all in need of cash flow and they need an operating POSP to show to potential investors that the concept works.
More to the point, why would you stand idle the posp ?
You may as well make money out of it now that youve bought it
See my post Monday at 17.04. I claim the Gold and the Silver.
When Salinger replies too Fyoz, I will also benefit.
Who has stated that POSP would not be profitable to run? The plant exists and is paid for. Can they not build the new plants while they chew gum?
I don’t really want to enter a discussion in which I can be either squashed or ignored, but why would a plant be abandoned completely if it can still make money, and more importantly perhaps, help line up customers ready for the 5000 bid plants?
It has been pointed out, by Indigo for one, that the board cannot sit on share price influencing news.
Thank you all who have made it clear that today’s RNS is concerned with an administrative procedure. No need for others to wish you had sold yesterday.
Sorry to see everybody talking so much sense this morning, taking the fun out of the bloggs, and rending my very sensible suggestion of hiring someone like professor Feggy superfluous.
From the Daily Telegraph:
“Temperatures of 40C will become norm for British summers, leading meteorologists warn”
Find a meteorologist willing to predict 45 degrees and hire him as QFI’s PR man. Can’t go wrong.
We need to know more about the two successful companies you have run, ColinH. After all, a garage with two lathes and a milling machine can be successfully run.
