Thank you very much.
Hello, This is my second request on LSE today Hello, Please could somebody help me with the following? I have tried myself but for PPS i cant find the report even if i did i don't think i would understand it right. You see, i am not very familiar with and so I question the authenticity of my finding. If I may ask what is the total of PPS current assets and their liability, in terms of debt? Please could somebody kindly help me with this?
Are they making a profit? Thanks.
i think caza needs a deeper explanation, beyond YA.
Please would you be kind enough to state all the zero debt companies you allude too?? Thank you in advance.
so in other words SA and US need to make a compromise.
In the conventional sense of things, yes they would be foolish to buy US shale. But the situation is not that straightforward. The oil industry has undergone a paradigm shift and we therefore need a dynamic approach to figure out solutions to new problems. SA may perceive US shale as a threat and to mitigate that threat they would need to try new things to maintain their market share. SA in theory could flood the market with more oil in the hope to bankrupt US shale industries but as soon as they restrict supply the US shale industry would flourish once more. And the cycle would start over causing a loss of many billions/trillion of profit in the process. One solution therefore seems to be to invest in US shale, after all the business can be profitable regardless of the cost differences. The profits made from US shale would help balance SA books.
I have a library of stock dated which I complied over the course of many years. I use the data for testing hypothesis and other analysis. Recently I looked at one of my stock lists and I found something very interesting. Out of a list of 5-8 stocks, stocks which analysts predicted would significantly increase (sometimes in excess of 400%) have in fact decreased to the extent that many would regard them in contemporary times as penny stocks. Is this just a coincidence or is there a moral to the story?
I don’t think that the buying out scenario would be possible anyway for the reason that US shale industry lives in US and it is not very easy to buy something which would always belong somewhere else without there being many restrictions. However, I do think that it is possible for them to fund, invest in and control some aspect of US shale. This scenarios seems feasible in my opinion. Furthermore, I think it may have occurred to you that SA buying US shale is not about ‘needing to buy’ but rather about politics and possibly about how to get some control on the industry to safe guard SA economy. Lets face it, shale will grow and alternative energies will continue to develop. How long can SA restrict oil to manipulate the price of oil when more and more oil is coming online.
Jobs, taxes and other incentives would keep USA happy and Mr Obama would get many house points.
It doesn’t matter if US shale costs 10 billion a barrel and SA oil costs 1 billion a barrel. If both have the potential for high returns there is a profitable business there. Furthermore, If I had billions in the kitty I would try to buy a significant amount of my competition, even if it did not make financial sense, initially. For the reason that I would want to create a monopoly. This would have an impact of the price of oil and if oil prices were to go back to above 60usd a barrel, US shale would be a profitable business for SA.
Furthermore, that would create a monopoly but I don’t think the US government would mind that much for the following 2 reasons (1) USA would retain ownership of the fields regardless of who has the key. (2) Taxes. Sounds like a plan destined to failure but a good plan for manipulating the price of oil. And let’s face it; it is politics that dictate the price of many things, in contemporary.
Vernony, it doesn’t matter if they are or are not as the assets stay in existence regardless of who gets the key. Let’s say the assets of many shale companies are taken/confiscated, would this not play into the hands of bigger players as they could easily buy those assets. What’s more interesting is the possibility (if it exists) for Saudi to buy US shale assets to regain/increase its market share. Why doesn’t the Saudi government just invest in US shale? Surely this would be a better strategy, no?
so for that reason your statement is void in my view.
I don’t think your generalising to all Arabs are you? No I don’t think so. The issue is it is not just those who want to kill getting killed but rather innocent people being killed at the same time.
'Well a small war in the middle east could help !' I admire your formality. Just like to point out that lives are lost in wars. Oil, war or life? I would chose life anyday even if it is not my own. God Bless.
i'll let you know in a few months but no later than 2016, God willing.
That i love you guys and i feel your pain. We are in this together and we must stay satrrong and pray that we can get our monies back. Chin up fella's : )
I think its time for Caza to do the right thing. Pay their debts. And for this i would back a stock split to the extent which would alloe CAZA to move to a better exchange. This would open the doors to better investment group which would give it the recognition. Subsequenlt caza can do an offering which would give it the capital it needs. And the rest is history, God willing. Am i right or am i right?????????????????????????
Whats so special about C$500,000??? Its not a lot of money.
