Mitch.........my point is there are over a billion cars on the road today not taking into account the lorries, buses, taxis, motorcycles, boats planes, trains and whatever else out there burns fossil fuels.
We will always have a need for fossil fuels IMO unless the powers that be can make their fortunes from renewables which I personally doubt.
I compare this situation like the droughts in Africa and the like.
How long have we been hearing they are without water .......40 to 50 years......certainly since I was boy.
Two thirds of the planet is fecking water........Africa is fecking surrounded by it.
A few strategically placed de-salination plants around the coasts of Africa could pump clean water to anywhere in the region........but it has never been done..........why.........because there is no profit in it for the powers that be.
The dozen or so richest families in the world control everything........the banks, governments...... everything.
All they care about is profit.......not doing the right thing.
My treehugger comment may have been a bit harsh and I apologise for that but IMO it is the way it is.

laugh at the treehuggers who bleat about not burning fossil fuels and switch to electric ..............where the FCUK do they think we will get all the planets demand for juice from......... renewables......not in my lifetime nor my grand kids.....if I had any...:)

Does anyone have a balanced view with regards to the value of where the sp should be now, given the reserves MMBoe stated, the fact that a Sheik is now going to be at the helm and the current level of shares in issue.

......and from memory I believe OEX 45% is around 11 million barrels of oil estimated reserve.

Brent Crude $74.03 per barrel
Natural Gas $2.55 per MMBtu

1000 cf = 1MMBtu = $2.6 @ today's rate.
That equates to 926 million MMbtu * $2.60 = $2.4 billion of which 45% is Oilex = $1.08 billion.

As stated before even with 90% hit to that with the current shares in issue = between 3 to 4pps......

Potential is there for all to see.

Panic sold before on other shares myself only to regret it.......not this time........in fact hoping that some of my other shares get an uplift soon so that I can transfer some more funds here if the sp hangs around this level or lower.....would like to try and double or even treble my holding if possible.
Not bothered either about the length of time it takes to materialise the potential here : )

Gas price hovering on $2.65 MMBtu.............only way is up.......:)

for me IMO this is the best time to load up pending available funds........sp seems to have hit bottom range.......natural gas prices low but on the way up.....$2.68 per MMBtu today........has hit $13+ in the past........factor that into recoverable MMBtu .......got to be patient to get rewards :):)
