Thanks for the response. I thought the lease income covered running operation and the divi, otherwise there is no profit and its no better than a savings account you draw on each quarter?
Thank theblord one if my dogs has decided to bark for once.
...whilst others are still licking their wounds is never a good idea. This stock owes a lot back to those who seen it drop from well over £2 in old money and a dilusion of shares that wasn't needed.
You're talking out your ass man. People have lost 2/3rd of the value of their shares sincentheu invested.
Why onnex divi day has the share gone down so much? I know it goes down on divi day but the share price usually rises before to reflextntje accrual of cash before it is paid to shareholders. The leases on this stock have years to run yet and its steady income, so I dont quite understand.
Still 55p in old money so im not nursing a semi yet!
This is what a sensible dividend gets you, an increase in SP, but lets leave out the silly stratospheric comments about £25 a share.
Can shorters gang up below the threshold?
As suggested. Reduce the divi out and SP recovers.
The question is a 30% divi isbusless whennyou capital reduces by over 60%. Look at BP within days of covidnthe so when from over £5 to below £2 and the immediately cut the divi, cautiously raising it back to protect the SP . Now DEC has all this extra cash on hand the same should follow, the SP rises and thennthey can build the divi back up all sustainable and now is probably the right time to buy as the SP theoretically should rise.
Just read the offer again. Its sell your shares for 105% of the price for 5 days of av price before the 28th or take the divi which will be around 7.5% seems bettet to stick than twist.
Keep the shares- the less shares there are technically, the sp should increase.
I'm wondering what's going on. Just as the SP starts to stabilise it then starts oscillating downward again?!
Did you consider if there is an issue with methane and if they have to ramp up plugging wells ,what's the true cost to shareholders or speculators taking advantage?
It will be the first time ever
Half the divi, stop the buy backs, pay off the debt. Replace the CEO for getting so wrong. Then watch the SP rise.
They announce the dividend is suspended, P drops to 400p and with the money saved in divis they can afford to buy out the remaining shareholders in a 2 year loan and taken it private. Nice job!
I don't see buyers clamouring for the stock.
So tomorrow we will have another RNS saying he doesn't know why the drop has occurred. That's 3 x RNS =30% drop in value of company and he doesn't know why. Shareholders should be demanding his resignation. given he's lost their investment and doesn't know why. I think the FD who resigned knew what was coming and refused to sign off.
Still not getting the message those who are holding. Unless they cross. A. 3% threshold. You will see no II. Announcements. Enjoy your 33% divi if you risk buying today. It's junk stock now.
