Needs to be appreciated that people have been patient here for 10 years and their reward is to see their shareholding hugely diluted through placing after placing.

I very much think this will come good but we have to be looking at a 12-18 month timeframe max otherwise shareholders are likely to suffer again no matter how much patience they show.

After 10 years of knock backs it's been nice to see momentum build and the share price rise on the anticipation of big news. Unfortunately, today's announcement is hugely deflating and the market has reacted accordingly. The end goal has to be in sight for all the reasons stated but Management really need to up their game and ensure they keep shareholders on side.

We've had the hype.

We've had the radio silence.

Last week saw unusual trading activity.

Is now the time we get some news??

Have to agree that the incessant tweeting about copper (and only copper) is starting to feel a little odd in the grand scheme of things.

Good to see the share price holding firm given the lack of news and the reduced volume of trades.

Also a bit quieter on here which is inevitable until an announcement. The calm before the storm perhaps...

Loving the optimism here in recent weeks and months.

Whilst all the puzzle pieces now seem to be on the table, I find it difficult to get too excited that the end game is imminent given the ups and downs of the past 10 years.

In terms of timing, do we need something to happen here in the next few weeks before the winter hits Finland and everyone goes into hibernation? Or could a deal happen at any time?

Completely agree that shareholders deserve an update here asap.

Thanks to the great research by many folk on here, we know just how close we are to something major. If we're still waiting for news in one month, two months or more then surely we have to question the communication of management and their feelings towards smaller shareholders.

There's doing things by the book. Sometimes it feels like these guys have mislaid the book...

Wonder if KDR could end up selling part of the business first then distributing the proceeds to shareholders through the mother of all dividends!? Would be nice for starters...

Wonder how many shares are truly available for trading right now and how many are locked away as holders continue to build.

I've heard a lot of people here say that there's an extremely low free float here and, given the amount of shares held by directors, the 3%+ holders and LTHs here, I agree.

What do we think this means in reality? I'm guessing there are around 15m shares not in sticky fingers. Anyone else agree or am I way off? :)

Here's hoping we're about to enter a week with some real, tangible significant news.

Whilst I'm excited for what may come, it's hard not to be really disappointed with the level of communication out of the Prof and management team over the past 10 years. They may do things by the book, as they should, but there has been very little by way of acknowledgement or recognition for those shareholders that have seen their holdings decimated.

No investment comes without an element of risk and this was absolutely a massive longshot from the start. However, it's our funds that have helped keep the lights on during the dark winters.

All will, of course, be forgiven if everything goes to plan but it would still be nice to see an improvement in communication in the coming weeks and months.

I'm hoping though that a sizeable take over offer will trigger a suspension in trading. Thus stopping me from panic selling too early!

Happy to be corrected but I don't think the share price has ever been near 45p.

More the fact that over the past 10 years our holdings have been diluted multiple times by the issue of new shares and share consolidations.

I was probably looking at a b/e point of around the 30p mark too and had this share well and truly in the bottom drawer.

Over the past 6 months I've taken the decision to increase my holding to the point where I'll now b/e at 10p. That's not my exit point though, I'm here for the end game!

Foolish or the best decision of my life? Time will tell and hopefully we're looking at weeks or months, not years.

In all seriousness, if KDR don't have good news re Ireland then their social media rep needs firing given the volume of copper related posts recently.

According to Wikipedia (yes I know...), the Prof's 90th Birthday is this Tuesday the 12th September.

Perhaps we could have some news this week to help celebrate this moment occasion...

Am I right in thinking the Prof is about to turn 90? No doubt he's planning on being around for the end goal and getting his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. At what point does he say...we have to get this whole thing wrapped up asap and a deal done for himself and the wider shareholder group?

As a LTH...if it hits £5, I might break even! ;)

Nice to see the share price increase again after drifting downwards the past couple of weeks. Even better if newsflow now starts to really push the share price up!
