Riddler/Shan
I've had labyrinthitis several times, less more recently. First time I had it didnt have a clue waht was going on and tried to carry on as normal, head was spinning all over the place, sick several times and off work four days. Its identified by tending to spin when lying on a particular side and can sometime be kicked off by a recent cold. Stuff gets into the wrong part of the ear canal and causes the dizziness, there is an exercise called the epley manoeuvre which can relieve the symptoms, it involves contortions to put the things in your ear back in the right place and can work, I liken it to that balancing ball bearing into holes game you used to play as a kid
