Thanks ASP )
Good afternoon Asp,
Apologies in advance if this seems like a naive question, the gap watch is upto:
27th-28th Oct 15 - 77.1
Do you have any numbers beyond this?
Thanks in advance )
Be patient.
Cant’ wait to see the bill for this lot... we are all going to pay :/
What’s up with some of you on this board, constantly having a go at each other. I wonder if you put the same amount of energy into research of shares... just saying )
Thank you Asp1 - These gap watch reminders are always welcome
Foxbat,
Not forgetting the loans are underwritten by the government, any impairment’s should not land on the shoulders of Lloyd’s )
Can anyone point me to the Lloyd’s Share Chat board please, I think I’m in the wrong place.... just saying )
Well said Falky
Is this the back door manoeuvre to withhold paying out dividends or reducing the amount to pay out...
Surely the pensions funds invested in Lloyd’s won’t sit on the sidelines or has a gentlemen’s agreement been reached, once again leaving the ord. shareholders out of pocket.
The bank has cancelled ‘cash bonuses’ due to Covid but it may give out ‘recognition shares’ - So they’ll not pay cash but give the equivalent in shares, this is slight of hand... in any case they are still paying! Everyone except the ordinary shareholder
Holly,
Good luck and all the best with vaccine, hope all goes well for you.
My take on Neg. interest rates:
John borrow’s 100k for a mortgage at -1.00% so the bank will credit John with the equivalent of -1.00% per annum until the principal is re-paid.
Mary has a deposit of 100k in her savings at -2.00% so the bank will charge Mary 2K per annum on the principal per annum.
I’m sure it’s more sophisticated than the above but in principal that’s how it will be applied.
Morning all,
Once a deal is over the line I suspect we will here more about our delayed dividend :-)
I think if we have no deal we will also have no Divi and the ban could be extended. If that does happen then without clear divi news the SP may drop. Who going to want to buy shares in a bank where no dividends are being paid... IMO
Bc2020,
1. Correct
2. Correct
3. Correct
Once a deal is confirmed, taking future impairments into consideration the SP should rise steadily IMO.
UK regulator has approved vaccine :-)
Paul,
Well said.
Good morning Rockylee,
Do you have anything to add besides picking on Falky?
Getting tired of reading the name calling on here. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and nobody is forcing anybody to follow advice or opinion. If you don’t agree with someone fair enough but less of the petty remarks please and more substance.
593K @ .42 - Patiently waiting :-)
My Answer: BLUE!
