I'm still left wondering what not their statement stating to be "the sole distributor for North America" means and was/am hoping they would/will have a part to play albeit a small one in the funraise and that their qoute wasn't a throw away comment...!

Cracking post PAAA, and one I suggest won't get any backlash due to the utmost respect and subject knowledge most on this BB have for you.
I have thought on a few occaisions about replying with a counter point on certain threads just to provoke a debate and get a better feel for where we currently sit but thought what's the point I'll just get abuse. We are all aware the build is going tremendously well but we need a favourable Stage 2 finance package otherwise the "little man's" potential return will be reduced IMO.

Myo's posts are great and most appreciated, however it looks like it's only the result of Stage 2 that is going to get us going in the right direction again.
Even having the TBM put together and in position and say a 2Mtpa European TorP won't make too much difference SP wise, at least until we know our financial position IMO.
Hopefully the Stage 2 picture should be unfolding very soon, let's hope it's favourable for all us little people..!

Hi Rosewall, I think you have misunderstood, ADM have already made the statement that they will be the "sole distributor of polyhalite from Sirius Minerals for North America" on one of their video clips. The question off Scotman was that one of the TorPs is for Anima Mineral Feed that is for potentially 10 years with a North American company. If the TorP is not with ADM then how can they make the "sole distributor" claim, yet the name of the company has not been made public.
I believe the TorP to be with ADM, and it is not been made public due to pressure that would be received from ADM's current supplier, just my opinion.

The issue IMO maybe that Sirius cannot provide the Animal Mineral Feed today or tomorrow. Reading between the lines the business area is quite aggressive in that, if suppliers believe their customers are buying elsewhere then they may stop their supply. If this is the case then the next question is, does that mean that the Animal Mineral Feed is so highly a sought after product that it affords the suppliers to be able to exert this pressure.
Any thoughts or am I just getting carried away with myself :-))

I noticed the ADM video has been retweeted on the Sirius website, is this a subtle hint of greater things to come do we think..?

I’ve just been looking at HS2 Project which is being funded by grant-in-aid from the government. The project is estimated to cost £55.7bn which is staggering.
There will be 1000 archaeologists working on 60 sites over 2 years and their work in London would “add to our understanding of how this city transformed"
Now I’m all for better rail services and being a Northern lad welcome the link between North and South to help us poor northerners out a tad but wouldn’t you think the Government could slip Sirius some Interest free credit, let’s say £2bn or so, after all the potential return is going to be more than generous.
It kind of feels a little unfair lol

I think ADM will have a part to play as a strategic partner..!

Some very honest and dare I say brave posts there from Bythesea and RuSirius.
I just hope that CF and co can get the financing for this monster project sorted out sooner rather than later so we can try and catch up with the progress of the build which is nothing short of tremendous and also release us from the shackles of the "money men"
