Judge probably goes to the pub and tells his wife he's having a couple of pints and comes home 6hrs later absolutely bladdered
Got to laugh at the FCAs comment re:unfair that shareholders aren't contributing. If the scheme is blocked and AMIGO goes belly up,will the FCA contribute to the millions lost to shareholders? We are shareholders,we've already contributed by buying into the business. We aren't here to repay the idiots that had no qualms taking the loans in the first place. Pretty sure they weren't forced at gunpoint to take them.
Same here. 40000 @0.109 so no huge investment but has been fun reading the posts from members a million times more wiser than me about shares and the derampers( didn't even know what that was till I joined here!) who have a separate opinion.
All aboard! The train is leaving the station.
The yoyo that is Amigo shares. Gets to the point I look at around 9am and don't bother after that. Not anywhere near the investment levels as some on this board so maybe that's why I don't lose any sleep over it. As long as it stays above 11p
Did they go up? Yes. Expecting 20%+ every day is just daft.
When have the courts said you don't have to repay the loan?
Don't think the Mars rocket climbed as fast as this is going.
Over 15 on 212
30p in 4 months? I'd take that. Lol
Something is going on. Trading 212 has a sell at 0.07192 and a buy at 0.10669.
Trading 212 are horrific. Sells lower than everywhere else and buys are higher. Right now it's 0.08121 and 0.09689. Mental stuff.
Morning all, first time poster but been invested for a few months. I did a bit of research a while back and below is in my opinion a common reason why the claims are getting escalated to the FOS. When doing their calculations they seem to be removing interest payments for something which I can't grasp(unpaid interest for non upheld loan?) and not adding on the 8%. Things like this is why the claims are getting escalated. Having read a lot more of these complains it is the case that if you get a refund and you still have a balance then the refund goes to the balance first before any monies are released.
Hi, I claimed via resolver a couple of weeks ago and got a reply last week saying that 2 were upheld and 2 were defended. Original loan was back in dec 2011 which they are defending, top up dec 2012 (uphold) top up feb 2014(uphold),top up dec 2014(defend). Now I can understand defending the original loan but don’t get how they can uphold the next 2 top ups and defend the biggest one when payments were even higher and my financial situation was if anything slightly worse.
12 Dec 2011 £3,000.00 36 £146.37 Defend
20 Dec 2012 £3,750.00 48 £160.41 Uphold
24 Feb 2014 £4,500.00 36 £219.55 Uphold
04 Dec 2014 £6,500.00 60 £256.91 Defend
The loans are paid off last year but the settlement?
Total Interest £3096.50
8% Simple Interest (After Tax Deduction) £0.00
20% Basic Rate Tax Deduction on 8% Simple Interest
Fees and/or Charges £0.00
Unpaid Interest from non-upheld loan £994.33
Total redress payable £2102.17
Current Loan Balance £0.00
Balance less Redress £0.00
Whats the unpaid interest all about when everything is paid off and I thought its 8% on top? Also if they are upholding the 2 middle ones then surely the big one should be upheld also?
