Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Likely a combination of factors. Couldn’t agree more though, anything north is always welcomed. Enjoy your weekend
Dodger let’s see where it finishes at the end of the day. But you cannot tell me a 7% rise is representative of finance being secured.
If Mr Market knew the finance had been secured we would t be sat at a mere 7-10% with a volume of 33 million. Perhaps a positive spin on BJ comments but I too take that with a pinch of salt. Likely MM moving out of range.
No sleep ever lost Myo. Like previously stated I have plenty of skin in this share and I want nothing but for it to be a success. Time will tell if I was right to place faith behind frasers wheels
Jim being classed as a basher for posting a different view? Is that fair? I wasn’t aware my opinions had to concur with anybody else. For the record I respect myo for his input to the board, his knowledge and sources of info are more often then not welcomed. I’m well aware of the order book also but for the record the order book on future demand counts for nothing if the mine doesn’t come to fruition or a takeover occurs by which current shareholders of SXX are wiped out. But this is all common sense and I don’t need to be staying the obvious here.I’m not What I’m disputing is the lack of credibility Sirius has shown in the form of PR to shore up and balance the scales against a heavy weighted bearish outlook. The extent of the damage is being shown in the SP and every week that passes our position as a company weakens and yet still nothing from our PR department.
Myo just because I have slightly different views to you, does not make me a basher. I have plenty of burnt skin in this game so there is nothing I want more then for this to succeed but look at the companies defence in the last 6 months and ask yourself why? For a multi billion pound project with a “disruptive product” ask why we find ourselves at a 3p sp and a >300Mcap. Everything for the last 14 months has been bearish to say the least and I’m questioning Sirius PR motive. It’s a vital part of staying alive and keeping positive momentum. This is a world class project, I do want it to succeed under Sirius. But for that to happen changes need to be made. I can’t help but feel the market wants it to fail and because of that, I do agree with other posters with regards to how many mechanisms and variables are at play here. But the actions from the board speak volumes and presently without anything to stop the rot, we see our value deteriorate.
Forseti and rightly so. He is the CEO of the company and thus accountable and can only be judged in my eyes on current performance which let’s face it has been nothing but a shambles. I have no doubt that construction is progressing well, that’s clear for everyone to see. But I stand by my previous post in that his credentials in finance will now be tested. His back ground counts for nothing unless he can pull through for his current project
These last 6 months or so have been nothin but bizarre. Fraser is not stupid, he should know better then to speak to the press. For me alarm bells started ringing with the RNS regarding the postponement of the bond. I understand why this happened and the potential to delay the bond offering until market conditions improved but it’s just how the RNS was worded. It was cold and with no effort or thought. It doesn’t take a genius to understand how the market reacts to that type of RNS. Since then it’s been a slide of bearish articles followed by a rapid drop in SP. Sirius PR department? Do they exist? No defence or articles to combat any doubt. Fraser has plenty of skin to lose in this game but the board need to hold him to account. His credentials in finance will now be tested.
Can anybody shine any light on the extent of the damage to the refinery. What exactly was targeted? More specifically export lines or actual process infrastructure? If we are talking major infrastructure damage, then this kind of thing isn’t replaced overnight. Parts and equipment on refineries are so often made to measure and can’t simply be bought off the shelf leading me to believe that it won’t be as simple as re-opening the taps. SA reckon they can bring up a third of lost production within a matter of days but I think this is extremely optimistic. I’ve seen first hand how long unplanned outages can take. Damaged to main line equipment and all associated infrastructure will require major integrity testing and assurance checks before and on completion of major work-scopes.
Still a hold for me until an update on the extent of the damage. Either way 5 million boe/d and 5% of total exports will be felt across the world reserves and IMO will only help to shore up Brent/WTI in the near term. The light shines bright on the vulnerabilities in the Middle East and who’s to say this is the end? We could well see further strikes and further turbulence in supply leading to sharp capitulation of oil price.
Good luck to all holders. Holding strong from 69.2.
Exactly A M, the ferret will have you believe he’s the best trader here. Last Thursday spouting back to the 70’s and against all odds he bought on the Friday just before the spike. Too predictable really.
Basically the ferret is out the cage. Happy you’ve sold, profit of loss, nobody really cares. What you fail to see is there are trading opportunities in both PMO and ENQ regardless of which “heavy or sweet crude” Both present opportunities to trade. I see many similarities with ENQ and PMO with regards to debt vs production vs shard holder value. What’s important for me is that although both carry heavy debt, both can self sustain and pay down debt with oil above $50bbl.
ENQ was due a boost from the doldrums. Good luck to all holders.
"The Company intends to raise approximately 90 per cent. of the gross proceeds of the Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer through the Firm Placing at the Issue Price to certain institutional investors".Can somebody clear this up for me...… does this mean that the remaining 10% will be open to us PI's? and what's the allocation? Thanks,Tops
