EBITDA loss at the half year 2025 was £112k.

One might have inferred from the half year loss the full year 2025 EBITDA loss might be broadly around double that at £224k, or less with sales increasing.

But it’s not. It is a loss of £445k. Despite being year on year improvement, an explanation in the rns of why the EBITDA outcome was significantly worse in H2 would have been helpful.

Soh says TW wanted his wife as a non exec director and TW’s mate as Chairman. Soh said no so TW turned against him.

For me the truth will likely be somewhere in the middle.

However, ultimately it’s about 2nd gen (Sweetbiotix and microbiome modulators) delivery that is key. Slimbiome will never be a game changer.

2nd gen products have not been delivered. It has failed to date. This after many many years of promises. Does anyone still believe SoH will deliver and if so why?

Perhaps investors who thought there was a manufacturing arrangement still in place for the US market, thus avoiding any tariff issues, might show as passing interest.

There was, of course, this RNS from 2019. I assume this is another deal that failed.

As initial investors have been waiting since listing in 2014 to see what happens.

And so far no operational profits. Only 11 years.

We need figures not words.

His RNS releases have promised so much over so many years. But the figures never deliver.

Nothing has changed.

On Feb 11th you said “ All in good time Wigster. Personally I think we are in for a pleasant surprise within the next two or three weeks. A bit of OPTImism and positive thinking wouldn't go amiss here - it's like being surrounded by undertakers at times.”

Here we are in May and nothing. Steve O’Hara has over promised and under delivered for years.

If he was really delivering he would give us real numbers.

An RNS about what?

How could it come to this? Such a well managed company.

Outstanding corporate governance. Clear and transparent updates. No conflicts of interest, certainly no family members funded by investors for years whilst it’s still a loss making company.

But not to worry. Things are ‘imminently ˋ going to improve. Mr. O’Hara assures us in his podcasts.

You neglected to say that he said 4 tonnes a month will take some time to get to.

Here you go TW, an update from Walbrook. I’m sure if sales were likely to be £3 this year there would have been a forecast included. But there isn’t.

£3m in 2025 is fantasy. It sounds like a TW ramp.

Let’s see if a TR1 is forthcoming from Opti after the latest warrants being exercised at skin.

Even 30p will be a tall order with Yorkshire Seed Funding seemingly selling into every slight rise. They still have several million shares to offload.

Perfect time for the Directors to demonstrate their integrity and buy shares in a material way as they indicated they would when they wanted shareholders support to defeat the director removal resolutions.

The share price has suffered, in a large part I suspect, due to an increasing lack of belief that the directors can be believed to do what they say.

And what happened to

“We also hope to secure a new partner in Korea shortly to launch CholBiomeX3® in Q1 2025, as well as several YourBiotix products later this year.”

One week left of Q1. Steve O’Hara must have taught Steen well to over promise and under deliver.

Rns today, over a year later.

“ We believe that the Group is now at a commercial inflection point having made strong progress in 2024 and early 2025 in establishing sales in major international markets like USA, China, and India.”

Looks like SBtx is moving up positively in anticipation of next months croda launch.

Is O’Hara capable of building any excitement for Opti after years of his unfulfilled promises?

Totally agree Friedman. More bluster from SOH as he has had nothing to announce.

Okay, keep your powder dry and let’s see where we are in 3 weeks time. Hopefully you will be correct and not saying just another 3 weeks or month due to the notorious excuse of partner delays. And if you are correct everyone on here will be a lot happier.

TotalWealth, what pleasant surprise do you expect Opti to provide us with in the next two or three weeks?

A trading statement that shows double digit but still sales only around £800k/£900k? That won’t do much.

Another Slimbiome agreement that adds a bit more to future income? Based on the previous dozens of Slimbiome announcements, that won’t do much.

Another Sweetbiotix update that still has no products being launched? Ditto for the microbiome modulators.

Or are you expecting something of substance?

We don’t know how Morden is going as O’Hara has not updated us.

Just like he has not updated us on last years sales so presumably they are underwhelming.

And just like he has chosen not to update us on sweetbiotx, so presumably we can infer nothing imminent there as promised last February.
