Pedro what is the point in investing £18? Go and play the fruit machine will you. My minimum investment is 2.5k, how would you make anything with £18.

Did you save your pocket money for the £18 buy in?

Personally I think a return to 35-40p is more likely than 18p.

You are right the company is not in good shape but I think the rocket like growth followed by the recent global situations have caused major issues. This has happened to multiple businesses UK wide. I have seen multiple businesses fold within the sector my employer operates in…

I believe this is why MA is spreading his bets on his recent purchases across retail. He will either make a small profit or a killing! I very much doubt he will be acquiring to offer Boo to Shein.

Just looking to take my investment out now, small profit or loss.

Any major upside is 18-36 months away if there is one.

All just my opinion but the current situation is boring, August was definitely more fun, should have bailed at 40p. Gotta love a bit of hindsight.

He could quite easily double, triple his investment with the holdings he has picked up in the last 18-24 months.

Personally I think it’s a clever move, at least 2-3 of his new holdings will surge at some point maybe all of them yet for all you know!

So are you saying MA doesn’t think a lot of the retail market is undervalued due to all all the global issues over the last 18-24 months? Personally I Think he has spotted this group of companies are well undervalue. Why on earth would you invest millions into multiple businesses? Maybe a punt but a more educated punt than you could make PP!

TBF the Tripadvisor ratings are poor to say the least!

TBH very little people in my family buy anything from Next, overpriced and the quality isn’t as good as it used to be.

I think the only time I visit on/offline is for work shirts, the tailored trousers are often better from Primark.

I think the best thing in Next is the kids clothes.

Obviously Boo’s performance and the TU will impact the next shift in SP but can Shein maintain its own level of growth and margin?

Will Gen Z look for companies that are more ethical and responsible?

Will governments clamp down on imports of cheap cotton and clothes?

I think a small positive may be on the Horizon soon and maybe the time to exit. The good old times may never happen unless Gen Z and global governments act.

Below are some interesting reads on the competition. Boo are trying their best to gain more customers state side with the new fulfilment centre and glossy marketing campaign.

The next two years will be a bumpy road, lots of up’s and down’s. Will be a game of exiting at the right time, if you’ve bought in at the current low you should be in a good place IMHO.

The current low is near or at the bottom IMHO, the exact bottom is always hard to judge. The trickiest judgement to make is when to jump off the train, hopefully this zephyr will leave the station soon…..
