Good interview and nice update from Brad. Finally good to hear some news about El Pantano which is sounding very much as we expected... early stage low grade but confirming what they hoped for. I would certainly look into other labs for future samples, or if doable, ship them to the lab in Colombia.

All round, pretty decent update and looking good for H2/26. 😊

We should hopefully get an update soon as we progress into the second phase of the Gloucestershire Police trial which was due to be in Spring 2026.

RNS dated 12 December:

Samples from the El Pantano project are sent to the preparation facility and fire assay laboratory of Alex Stewart Laboratories in Perito Moreno to be assayed for gold. Pulps are then sent to the larger Alex Stewart facility in Mendoza for multi-element analysis.

To date, seven holes have been completed with samples from the first five submitted to the laboratory in Perito Moreno for fire assay gold analysis, to be followed by multi- element analysis, including silver, from the Mendoza facility.

RNS dated 29 April:

In Argentina, the Company's first drilling program for a total of circa 4,400 metres had been completed by the end of March 2026 at the El Pantano project and results are awaited. Interpretation of all new and historical data will inform a next phase of field work which may be commissioned later in the year, potentially ahead of a second drill program at the project.

So given that the lab had at least a handful of samples back in December I do find it a little odd that we haven't had any results. 🤷 🤔

That may be the reason although the lab in Colombia does do gold, silver and other elements as well.

I think the El Pantano sample got sent around the beginning of December and as far as i'm aware we haven't had any results back so far (unless I missed them) so unless there's another reason i'm not aware of, if I was Brad I would be looking at exploring this possibilty for future samples.

A couple of questions for all you folks out there who know an awful lot more about mining than I do...

• How big are the drill samples that get sent to the lab for processing?

• Is there any reason why the El Pantano samples couldn't be securely packed and shipped to the lab in Colombia that the Anza samples go to?

Just curious to see if this would be doable considering how long the El Pantano lab is taking, whereas the Anza lab turns them around straight away. 🤔

Yes I would imagine we'll see some sort of limited 'boots on the ground' campaign this coming weekend whilst some markets are shut. Trump's constant 'negotiations' BS has clearly been a delaying tactic until they've got the troops and assets in place. I would be extremely worried for any troops that get sent in as Iran has had quite a while to prepare for a ground attack. Even if it's a limited campaign like taking one of the islands, they won't go down without a fight.

I've purposely been building funds ready to jump back into OMI (and others) at a knocked down price once all this 'war' nonsense settles down and markets start heading back up. 🤞

I think these declines are far from over. Long term nothing has changed, OMI is still a fantastic stock to invest in with a shed load of hopefully positive news coming out over the next 6 months or so but unfortunately no stock can avoid declines under these market conditions, which i'm very saddened to say, probably won't improve anytime soon.

I sold half my holdings and took profits at 27p and will keep the other half long term with the aim of buying back in when I think we've hit the bottom and all this 'war' nonsense looks like it's coming to an end.... but who know when that will be.

Good luck all, try not to get too down, it will start heading back up at some point and then it will fly... remember, you haven't lost unless you sell when down.

Oh how utterly depressing these markets are at the moment, my whole portfolio is down across the board in the last week or so and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be even a slight glimmer of hope that these latest global troubles are going to ease any time soon.

I've taken the opportunity to top up OMI and a couple of other stocks today but I must admit, days like today do take their toll on the old happiness levels. 🤷😔
