Yes - but my point is that if "takeover" is at an advanced stage then the RNS would have said 'takeover'. It didn't, it said 'strategic investors'. Things may have changed and other 'offers' not just takeover offers may be on the table.

Thank you for also pointing out that the end result may be a funding partner. I don't know - say something true to the rampers and you get all sorts of verbal. Glad FS got banned - I was trying to filter him when he disappeared. Lets face it - if the rns had stated that takeover was in an advanced stage - the SP wouldn't have opened at 21, it would have had a 25% premium. the MM's aren't stupid. The RNS states IEL is in discussion with a number of strategic investors. Doesn't mention takeover, Could be that the other company agrees to subscribe for shares.

It hasn't YET been agreed. People hope for a better offer. But thats all it is at the moment, hope, unless confirmed by an RNS However, if you read the RNS's the directors don't seem very interested in looking for new offers. GL with your investments

If RPT is taken over and it is a cash offer you will get the offer price x the number of shares you have. You won't have to pay dealing fees. So if it is taken over at 24p and you have 1000 shares you will get a cheque for £240 or it will be paid into your account if you have an online account. RPT as a company then won't exist anymore.

At this level, I don't see any further value here and see the downside of buying in at this level outweighing the upside. I also think the directors aren't interested at looking at further options to increase value and are in ADVANCED talks. GL

Beware of rampers on this board, in particular, rampers who have only joined recently to promote RPT. From the RNS a few days ago citing the offer of 24p per share: The Board of Directors of Regal, having taken into consideration: the technical difficulties associated with bringing the wells to sustainable commercial production rates; the uncertainty in the outcomes of further reservoir appraisal and the potential impact, if any, on the reserves estimate; loss of operational revenue as a result of the suspension order and uncertainty as to when production may be allowed to resume; additional capital requirements for further appraisal and field development; and the ongoing legal and political risks surrounding the Ukrainian operations, believes that the Offer provides greater value and certainty to Regal shareholders than the Company remaining an independent listed entity at this time. They are in advanced talks right now and are not interested in trying IMO. If you bought now and only got 24p per share you would lose £3k of you hard earned IMO
