Yeap, this is AIM. MMs push the price down and buy to fill an order. Expect this to jump once performance figures come through.
I am foolish by holding on to this share. However, I am somewhat perplexed why BoD have settled if they were confident that they would win such a tax claim. In any of these matters you get legal and accountancy opinion that clearly outlines your chances of success. The actions by the Australian Government were IMO questionable given global tax laws. I wonder what would happen if the UK Government employed the same approach? The opinions on this board have been somewhat positive. I suspect that they just did not have the money to continue in this action and it was better to put it to bed. However, I suspect that this is another way of cleaning up the balance sheet in light of various restructurings. I too just want to see progress with some rewards at the end. I just don't know if anyone really considers this a good T/O target at this point. Given Jim Mellon's silence does not help. Hopefully there will be some progress on this share. I live on hope.
I do not disagree, but this is AIM. I suspect a number of investors are taking some profit. Or maybe some MMs are buying up cheap on the back of pushing the SP down. However, until new contracts and performance is shown, this SP might bounce along. I had previously read at the height of the litigation action that Institutional Investors would not touch this share until the litigation action was resolved. So, apart from getting TF and Illumina to invest in new arrangements, the BOD (IMO) need to get the message out to the market of major progress. IMO once this starts the SP may improve significantly.
It would be great to get news. However, any news will have to inform us of increased t/o, reduced losses and more contracts. In an ideal world the update would also report on whether a deal has been agreed with TF. I would also like to understand the progress with each of the countries such as India, Brazil, Egypt, etc etc. It would also be great to see some recovery in the SP to previous highs. Again, a lot to ask for if we get news. However, you can only hope,

Many thanks. I just want to see this SP going somewhere. If sex products sell, then this product should be flying off the shelf.
There has been a lot of speculation with Fortican over the last few years. Missed targets and delays etc. Hopefully, something positive will happen in 2019. I have been surprised that Recordati have not been more proactive. Jim Mellon has also been extremely quiet, which I suspect may be for other reasons. For the SP to increase we need sales, not to mention the US and Chinese markets being open to us asap.
I would be surprised if good news is released tomorrow. Many of the traders will be off. The SP has been very volatile in the last few months. I would be delighted if this SP starts to climb and recover back to the original dizzy heights of 24p several years ago. If Santa does appear then bring it on.
Yeap, more buys than sells with a delayed 750k share purchase. AIM is pitiful at times. IMO don't sell, just hold at these prices. I suspect interest will continue to be generated as positive news starts to flow.
Not taking off the way I thought this one would go. Down a bit today, however, I wonder if someone is buying again? This seems to be the way AIM moves!
I have read the two late RNS releases. Overall I am still comfortable. I think with this share you need to hold your nerve. Raising capital to invest is ultimately going to help NIPT progress into new markets. Over the last few days I suspect many parties have taken a position in anticipation of a drop on Monday. However, depending on what news comes out tomorrow a few of those who may be shorting might just get caught out if the SP increases. Given that this is AIM, until the BOD start announcing positive news we are going to be bouncing along. I might actually buy some more tomorrow if this does fall below 10p.
This should be an interesting week this week. Whilst the final accounts are due, you would also anticipate that the BOD would be shouting from the roof tops that they have turned the corner and are exceeding expectations. Re notaflipper's excellent comments, I myself do see this share being a potential TO target. I am surprised that the new CEO is not coming out with more news on growth. IMO if the SP can achieve pre litigation levels over the next 3 months then this would be a move in the right direction,
Yes, interesting. Over the years I too have listened to TW. If something big is about to happen, then brilliant. Many of us LTHs have suffered with the SP. The SP should be multiples of where it is if it was not for the b*lls up on the litigation front. There is lot of news anticipated in the next 6 months; namely:- litigation, performance, annual accounts and world growth!
Hemo, last year's results were published as per RNS on 29 September 2017. I like you just want to know what is happening on the litigation front. I don't think the position can get any worse. Or at least I hope so. I suspect many are either topping up or anticipating news. I have not heard anything lately from Tom Winnifrith. Here is hoping!
We need news on this one. Maybe the new CEO will hit us all at once with some positive communication. Good to see further share activity today.
notaflipper, I revisited all the RNS announcements over the last 18 months. I agree that the next few updates should "hopefully" be a game changer. However, so far this has not been the case with the opposite usually being delivered. Nonetheless, at some point progress should be achieved with this SP. We just need the litigation sorted, BE definitely achieved and financial performance coming through so that strong cash is generated from profits. If this happens then there will be a correction. My only concern at this point is whether with the new CEO in place that these guys might try to do a take private and leave us PIs with losses? News is really needed.
Does anyone know why the non-shy self publicist Jim Mellon has gone to ground? He is never usually so quiet for such a long period of time. Maybe it is coincidental that RPG and Jim have gone extremely quiet.
Last week was a great week with steady progress being made. On the back of more "no news" there has been a lot of share activity. Maybe Winnifrith has been told something, albeit at some point you would expect significant progress to filter through to the bottom line. I agree with some on this BB who have suggested that why release news if you are attempting to negotiate with Illumnia. Ideally I would like this to be settled, but it is unlikely to happen unless there is a willingness to do so. I would like an update on the legals asap, but I guess I will need to be patient.
Well, no news last week and a lot of share activity. It would appear that there is certainly interest with the SP improving slightly in the last few months. I do not think it would take much for the position to improve, but hopefully the new CEO will pull a blinder in the next quarter. I suspect that he will want positive news and progress on many fronts.
I think we have all been waiting for some time. If this product is as good as suggested, you would think that the sales volume would start coming through together with profits. I would also like to think that there is many things happening behind the scenes. I am patiently waiting on news!
A poor day so far. Hopefully news will follow soon. I am only assuming that no news is good and at some point the BoD will start working on the SP.
