Correction - the 52 week high was back on 11th Feb

I'm not so sure. To hit a 52 week high during lockdown and trade pretty close to that level for weeks was unsustainable. Now the true level of performance is out there, my gut feeling is that further falls will come.

Their exposure to town and city centres was always going to hurt them during lockdown, so the results are unsurprising, but look to the future and the only way is up imo.

Look at the volume sold after the market close!
Clearly they're betting on a big fall tomorrow.

Can anyone advise why there is often something like 3p (10%) between the buy and sell price of CARD shares?
I assume it's to do with sp volatility with a relatively low priced share?
I notice this on CARD shares more than any other I am watching, currently I am seeing 30.0p sell and 34.05p buy!

I thought the sp was heading down, but I'm no longer of that opinion.
I dipped in at 87p yesterday and despite a lot of red on the board this morning MKS are blue.
I don't see much movement until 20th May now.

I wouldn't confuse the fall in new car registrations with the ability of AML to get future orders.

Other than online there has been no clothing sales - the wife works on Ladiesware and she's been furloughed.
She worked in an M&S Food the week before being furloughed and they weren't exactly busy either, probably because city centres are ghost towns. May 20th is not going to be pretty!

A 97% drop in new car registrations last month will mean a significant increase in new car registrations next month, when the dealers are actually open :)
It's a meaningless and expected statistic!

I suppose it's recognition that M&S have got to go to lunchtime customers, as they're not coming to them in serious numbers anytime soon. If I'm honest I don't see this making anything but a small ripple in a very large pond.

It looks to me like we're heading for 70-80p before 20th May
Medium term, my concern remains about footfall in large city centre stores for the next 12-18 months.
