Also as mentioned but missed that day and it’s a good point Tesco sold and leased back properties to fund their global domination attempt, now why on earth not buy back the leases ? In effect it’s like a equity release, a fair point in this Scorpion dividend fiasco ooh I mean SPECIAL Dividend of course

Rosy I’m sure I said with less shares in the market the dividend would rise to 20% as let’s say they made 2 billion, 1 billion they give to shareholders which was 9.21p last year so if they made 2 billion again ( we will have to see as there’s the cost of covid to come out unless they put that under another sticker of course) so 20% less shares I wouldn’t be surprised if the dividend is 11.5-12p for the year actually making a nice 4% if I may say so ,

Went to bed it was £510 odd , that’s some pull back .. welcome to the world of micro focus , just remember there was a £5 bid mooted last year which faded now the division back , results was reasonably ok I think they’d have to offer £6 plus or more, it’s just a tree shake now a buying opportunity if you feel it can get back to 540 that’s a 15% odd gain any fund would snap that out of your hands,
Although suspect maybe another 10p odd fall to go yet but I’m holding these puppies!

Great news to see it re instated given the shares a boost and confidence in the shares, A 11p dividend 2% at current prices 5% if you got in at the lows now but to think what they was paying in the past, put these in the draw and come back in the future you maybe holding a pop share where the dividend is more than what you paid for the shares well those that bought in at the lows anyhow s ! Onwards and upwards steady as she goes

At 130.5 a 1k profit almost not bad for a month considering I was £500 down weeks back , looking for a retrace when the hype subsides a little, well we shall see good luck if your holding out for more for now

Yep I agree I’ve probably had £400,000 in wages but thinking how I used to work in several departments and what I’ve saved them coming into do extra shifts to get vans out on a Friday I’ve probably made them millions and saved them 10,000s of thousands , soon as I was bumped off driving they had to cancel two vans on a Friday loaded up how much did that cost to compensate customers,put the shopping back and re pick it ?

Personal circumstances well I’m mortgaged up to my eyeballs and beyond 365k to go, hopefully interest rates stay low and we can fix for five years again next year keep paying the same rate and knock 2 years off so I’ll be early 70s before I pay that off chuckle ! But hoping to trade a lot off so it’s finished by my 60s
