You need to read up on the relationship between share price, number of shares and market cap.

But how will they verify the results are accurate? Dont think we need concern ourselves with a test for 4,000 people over 6 weeks. Given that GDR has stated on their website

I think the first thing he said is that not all projects that they put time into will be successful. Not meaning to put a downer on things, but probably a comment worth being mindful of.

Think its a bit late for showing early promise. Now the big boys have developed one form of antibody test they will be into the home testing market soon. Clocks very much against us now imo.

Neither have a confirmed product, they are both waiting for approvals. And you have totally ignored what the market caps were pre Covid. Avacta were valued about 10 times more than Genedrive earlier in the year.

Because whilst in here we are caught up in ODX and discussing share price and market caps, out there in the real world there is a deadly virus. It would be a great story for the goverment to use a UK consortium backed product but when all is said and dome the priority will always be the country as a whole, and if that means using another test which is already approved then so be it. In the grand scheme of things going on right now, who makes the test is completely irrelevant.

Probably true for a lot of people on here. Some have needed the relationship between share price and market cap explaining. Covid has brought about a lot of newbie 'investors'.

Given that there was a large seller to satisfy the large buyer surely that the net demand for shares was zero. Hence the price hardly moved.

The problem isnt the company, they problem is the rampers on this message board. They have got you lot so hyped up that the CE news will be positive and it will be this week. That its now inconceivable to think we might not heard this week.

What a load of nonsense. It shows naivity from PIs if they think the BOD can give a definitve timescale for CE marking. Something which is out of their hands. What sort of broader time scale you you want? Summer/spring 2020? No doubt if they did you would be whinging thats too vague. Geez!

The actual words were "approximately 3 weeks' time. ", its not within 3 weeks and its not a deadline.

Seems like positions have been taken, those who want to be holding are, and those who want to sell have done so. Just a matter of waiting for the result of the CE marking either way.

I expect some people might have got spiked by buying into the messageboard rather than closely reading the RNS.

Not sure why people would jump ship for that RNS.
