I don’t think I did use the words you’ve quoted. If I did, I misspoke. Can you tell me the time of the post in which I wrote your quoted sentence so that I can check my precise wording please?
Thanks
Gunner
Because I took my shirt out on leverage. So only had to put down 25%. Which means a 25% move downwards is a 100% return on capital.
Laz, I haven’t closed any of my short. In fact, I increased it yesterday.

Sorry I’ve been out with my son celebrating his GCSE results and only just seen your message.
In answer to your queries:-
1). I don’t know the science well enough to guess whether or not the company will go under. Ultimately that will depend upon the expected commerciality of its assets.
What I am highly confident of is that the company will suffer devastating levels of dilution. Pharma companies take years and years and years to get to cashflow positivity. Unless of course they achieve the holy grail - the sale of an asset to big Pharma for multi-billions. Does anyone know how many pharmas have been listed on AIM? And of those, how many have sold an asset to big Pharma? And of the vast majority who didn’t sell their asset to big Pharma, how many had shareholders on LSE who were utterly convinced that their company would be worth billions?
So the ones that don’t sell out early, how long does it take them to get to cashflow positivity? And all the cash outflow in the intervening period is all financed by equity, at lower share prices every time they raise.
2). The question is meaningless. I’m not going to hold to the end. I have already doubled my money. By the time it gets to 50p, I’ll have tripled my money. At that point I’ll reassess. If Riverfort still have plenty of new shares left to sell, and they continue to sell aggressively, I may hold on to 20-30p.
And then with that tripled or more money, I’ll move on to my next investment. Hopefully another Riverfort CLN would be ideal, but they don’t come along every week.
The salient point is that it will take you decades to make a moderate return. I’ll have recycled a similar return (if you’re statistically improbably lucky) multiple times by then. So categorically, I will make more money over the duration of your investment in the company.

Try drinking some herbal tea. It might calm your mood.
And remember, if you look at it his objectively, I should be the hero of this bulletin board. Those that followed my recommendations and sold at over £1 will be loving me right now. And those that contemplated selling but were convinced not to by the resident bulls will, I’d imagine, be calling you lot all the names I’ve been called on this board and more.
Try not to see this share through rose-coloured spectacles. It’s not good for your wealth.
It’s an interesting debate. Aquis don’t allow it and it’s often hard to get borrow from spreadbetting companies.
As an investor I like it, personally. Sometimes I look at a share and think it’s overvalued and other times I think it’s undervalued. It’s good to be able to back those beliefs. I also think it makes for a fairer market. When a share price gets overinflated, shorters can bring it back down to a more sensible level.
In other news, there are only 2,500 left on the bid and 60K+ left on the offer, so this is going to drop again soon.
Why is our agenda immoral?
I am utterly convinced that the SAR share price will fall. It already has 20% since I started warning people about it.
OK, I want to make money on my short. But I’m also trying to help shareholders save money by selling now before it’s too late. The share price simply has to continue to fall from here. It’s basic market mechanics.
I was a long-term AVCT shareholder. I vowed never to sell initially but it’s been a long, slow destruction of shareholder value, despite being potentially the most exciting pharma company I’ve ever seen.
You have to understand the markets as well as the science.

Hi 👋
The timing of the next deposit is more likely to be a function of how long it will take Riverfort to sell off each tranche of shares rather than when Sareum will need the cash.
