Yes, it was post to illustrate how BTC rallys over the weekend only to drop just before open on Monday.
Which I’m sure it’ll do again this weekend.
Yes, every investor has an entry point, whether it was lucky or planned back a few months / a year in single digits, or recently like many of us, with averages over the £2 still hoping for that true value to be assigned here.
But, one very important thing every holder needs to understand, is that for the share price to increase, we need buyers that are happy to buy at these and much greater prices, so future buyers are more important now than previous ones!
This is why it's absolutely key that new investors see the potential. and moving to a listing where those people exist in far greater quantities is essential for full potential.
Just a thought....
Looking forward to a BTC ATH again this weekend peeps!! Have a good one!!
Tp
$3.5
4% up
"I was under the impression it was point of sale that the event was taxable."
It is for individuals as it would fall under CGT, but not so much for businesses under certain conditions, ie mining
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tax-on-cryptoassets/cryptoassets-tax-for-businesses
I imagine it's just like any other mining / manufacturing business, the tax is based on earnings after costs at year end so it must be the same. So yes more tax if bitcoin goes up, unless theres a way to sell them to a nominated holding company so they're off the books each month??
I think the salary in btc is just a public show of faith on where he believes bitcoin is going, and it creates a talking point that focuses on ARB a little bit.
Let's face it, he could of just converted his salary to bitcoin himself as soon as he's paid like anyone could if he wanted, but that wouldn't of created a talking point as nobody would know.
Anyway, anyone invested here and/or buys bitcoin, must believe its going to carry on with its incredible adoption and growth, so its just patience we need. Sit on those hands an HODL
240-250
Slightly off from yesterdays close, but not very much
"Net flow of 93 million has pushed bitcoin apparently"
Do we know if its a whale, or another Elon grab, or possibly even a bored premiership footballer with too much cash!!
:)
We (UK) do seem to be a trading nation that appears to be short sighted when it comes to amazing opportunities, and any rise on a share like ARB gets sold into so quickly! Today is a good example. We are connected to bitcoin, and that is absolutely flying right now, possibly off to hit another ATH.
To an extent, I understand it, take profits and run, but also there are some stocks that would show a much better ROI if the majority just HODL
Oh well WTFDIK
:)
I thought it was odd that when doing a dummy sell to check prices, I could off load my whole stash at 248 a few minutes before the rise started!
Something is driving bitcoin up massively
Somethings going on!!
Intense buying pressure on BTC thats now spilled over to ARB
Attack on 60k coming!!
Its gone vertical again!!
you certainly can't short to open through IG index, so I'm not sure where else you could in the UK
They are allowing long CFDs though, so I've taken the liberty of opening a couple of those alongside physical shares!
For those wondering why we are not rising faster, the placement shares being flipped still, coupled with a real obvious pattern with ARB early day trading has attracted a lot of traders. So anything that helps the sp move quicker (like this morning first thing) is sold into, and then bought back again.
Rinse and repeat is very standard practice and this will continue until the pattern is broken (Nasdaq would help)
Nothing to worry about, just HODL and be patient. Thats all I'm doing, oh and buying more pretty much every down day now!!
Bucket loads of selling over 260 at the open will be money that came back in just over 250 again
Rinse and repeat!!
Onwards and upwards now
morning
255-265 spread to open
BTC making a bolt for 60k again by the looks of it........
Sounds like a winner to me, 181 shares? Thats £1810 by xmas!!
:)
Now thats a ramp!!!!
And, btc just took off again!
That was a very positive spin from our US cousins!! I've just watched the closing bell, and it came across even more upbeat than I realised.....So it certainly wont be bad for us from the off.
The markets are going to be very happy!
And whether we like it or not, at the moment we are completely tied to btc, so if that continues to perform over night, which it is looking like it will at the moment, then watch this space!!
I'm going to be up all night watching the damn thing again now :)
GL to us all
US climbing nicely into their close too!!
If bitty can keep going we could be in for quite some fun tomorrow!
