The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
It looks like it we might enter a Managed Wind-down phase.
I'm curious if any of you have encountered similar situations with other REITs in the past? If so, could you please share your experiences or any insights you gained from those situations?
Assuming shareholders don't vote against it, of course. Thanks.
TIL this is one of the most shorted stocks on the FTSE (source Morningstar). 5.06% net short.
Can't wait for a squeeze as I'm long!
iWeb are in the same group as Halifax. Nothing on Halifax either
Nope, not yet on Halifax and it's Friday already :O
Which data source did you use Amann for footfall increase? I doubt it's getting better according to Statista.
Inflation and cost of living squeeze are probably affecting HMSO. Consumer discretionary spending has to go down.
We should be using 150M shares in issue from now on. But yeah on sale!
RNS KR1 plc Issue of Equity under Performance Incentive Scheme
In accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, KR1 announces that, following the issue of Ordinary Shares referred to above, the Company now has 150,824,398 Ordinary Shares in issue, each share carrying the right to one vote.
We have also gone from $400m+ in NAV down to $260m. So although we still trade sub 1.0 P/B the drop is not totally unjustified.
Got the divis from Halifax, all good.
And just when you thought Boris' Plan B would cause a bloodbath this morning, it's up 2%. What do I know..
Hey has anyone received the scrip dividend? It is today (7th Dec) if I'm not mistaken. I'm with Halifax, nothing received yet.
Lack of comms, it was never their intent to please the shareholders. But they let the deals do the talking.
It's painful to just trust the NAV. But we have to.
How many people were waiting for the ex-div to sell? ;) Ouch!
Do you need to wait until the end of day 28th? Is this the reason behind the bloodbath?
Can't remember where I got this but it used to resemble Kr1's portfolio, not sure it's still accurate: https://cointracking.info/portfolio/8699e611339066a72040
Are people here tracking NAV in their own spreadsheet?
Sorry, that was in dollars. ATA holding should be about £13m GBP now
Make it £17m... ouch. Can someone post the latest NAV?
Just spoke to Halifax Sharedealing, they will only be offering the scrip option on this so nothing for me to do apparently. No idea when it will be paid out.
Just listened to a brand new podcast episode with Keld (KR1 director)
Some good points:
* They expect they'll attract more competition
* They expect Defi to capture trillions going forward
* Prefer Infrastructure (network to run those crypto apps), privacy, insurance projects
They explain the proof of stake principle and that they clearly prefer staking protocols because it combines capital growth with income.
What I also took away: The proof of stake involves *some* risk, in that the staking happens on a validator node that misbehaves and then you may get a penalty. Do people know how much of a risk this is? Or have prev examples?

It's hard to find a counterargument around here... I actually welcome a contrarian view that challenges my assumptions. But @Omniscience, if you're only looking at NAV you're not accounting for the intangible expertise of the owners and past track record - who knows what other projects they have in the making. That must be worth something more than just building the NAV on your own. Then you've got staking at £10-15m per year at current levels alone. And then comparables at much higher multiples. So overall, at current NAV, all other things being equal, I don't think £2.00 is overvalued.
plumbs you can use x-o, they'll open the account in a day or so. Can buy online too!
