These lies are comparable to the same lies issued by crux, which apparently Warren has a problem with. "Red Flag alert, Solgold is facing exploration and development study requirements of possibly US$340M in the next 2 years (estimates of US$360M of promised Exploration Commitments less estimates of US$20M completed)"

It's entirely possible that all of the lies in the crux report are actually sourced from the criminally compiled CGP news releases.

I agree It's important to think of the mineralization in 3d (although much harder), the length from top to bottom is easy enough,(atm, it's the 950 odd metres from drill 1 plus the addition 100m or so that hole 1 missed )
The other two dimensions could be called width but they are not the same as it's not circular. It's more of a flat tube,
Like a fig roll biscuit.
The shorter widths is about 150-250m atm this is the width that drill 2 is looking to expand.
The larger width is 400-500m.
If, as the geos expect, the shorter width can get closer to 300m or more then it becomes more circular like a tube of Smarties, and less flat like a fig roll.
Hope that makes some sense.

So key things....main body is at 450-500m, we ve hit mineralization at 340- that puts 110m to 160m of moderate copprr , maybe gold prior the main body, the main body then has 150-200m at that location...giving us 260m - 360m of moderate to strong mineralisation, then my expectation is a further expectation is 100-150m below, in what I believe to be a higher gold zone. Giving a range of 360m- 510m of mineralisation....this is beyond expectations....I am not sure the market is realising this.
Add in the higher width lower down (remember this isn't in the newly discovered deeper mineralisation)....
We will know over the weekend...but it looks bloody good.

're the scoping study, thanks for that, for me one of the biggies is the aud - usd conversation w which is 1-1....now it's more like a - .75....this means one tonne of copper prices in USD, is actually worth 25% more aud....i.e if the costs are in aud, the profit margin all things being equal is 25% bigger... Obviously not all things are equal, but it is a very nice movement and Martin to have.

And so the mineralised width begins at 340m, with possible some .1-.25 stuff before that......

Maybe, they should have been at 300-350 by close of Aussie day, which would hopefully be in the lesser .2 cu mineralisation....
No clue whether they wait though.

So I replied "frog,....." Literally 60 seconds after you, but you seemed to think and still do, that I was in some why slighting you

To bring it back to bushranger.
There is no evidence so far that bushranger is tier 1.
There is plenty of very good xrf evidence that good copper extends to 1015m , yesterday's rns. Which is fantastic.
As I said I would be over the moon if the grades are comparable to boda, but that is of course a personal opinion.
Drill 2 should be getting interesting and hopefully the xrf can pick up on some good low grade width,which again I would be very very happy with!

News I have no interest in arguing with you, but this is not YOUR thread and the forum is not your forum, it was started by frog and I just happened to post 60 seconds after your reply, which was pure coincidence unless you think in 60 seconds I can read your post, look up the Rio JORC figures and write a detailed reply.
're willem, I talk to lots of people and disagree with him on many things inc climate change...however I have never disagreed with him on resources. Not that it's any of your business.

Mineralisation has a similar spread to all of these porphyry types, being much stronger directly next to the intrusion, drill intercepts of 19m @0.82g/t Au. Compared to 152m @0.18g/t Au as you move 100-150m away from the intrusion, into the edge of the alteration.
If we can meet the boda gold values above, it would be an amazing thing. Even a bit lower would be fantastic.

News the constant digs are boring - the mention of cadia ,is was , purely because it was the same island arc which created ALL the sub zones in that region. There was zero mention the gold would be, was similar to or even that the mineralization was the same . " occurring within a volcanic rock package equivalent to that hosting Newcrest's Cadia Valley porphyry Cu-Au deposits" just means the rock type is the same. Ie the same island arc volcanic event and magma chambers.
It's not a question of me v the expert, which you would understand if you read anything I wrote and removed whatever chip you have on your shoulder.
If we get consistent wide gold grades similar to cadia I would be fantastically happy,but I am allowed an opinion that to constantly raise expectations that it would meet the gold grades of one of Australia s most successful gold mines ever, might not be the best idea.

Frog, the copper grades are more than good enough imo, they are similar to Rios strategically important winu copper gold project.
Personally I would be weary of gold comparisons to cadia, it might over promise.
Rio winu 0.2% copper equivalent cutoff, is 503Mt at 0.45% copper equivalent
We only need moderate gold and a few extensions to meet winu, which would be fantastic. Anywhere near it would be fantastic.

Just my opinion, but the share register is a bit disappointing. The company has maybe lacked the one project that will define the long term investors. The results at bushranger will be attracting more serious investors, even willem who I've had a few disagreements with in the past. But they will be longer term 2-3 year investors who will see the project through.
The problem is, it requires quite a change in the registry; a reduction in the tradable free float. Which is very large in this company.
The tighter, the more it will rise in news..it will happen imo, another problem is you won't know it happens until the share price is quite a bit higher than it is now.

We know mineralisation is by far at its best where the alteration zone meets the intrusion. It is very very well documented. So a cross drill must encounter this section.
Drill 1 though doesn’t have, for argument s sake it might stay 30-40m out from the really sweet zone.
With that in mind these grades are really solid and good. If this was valued at 400m, in deepest Africa or had a 1bn plus capex then it would be boarderline. For a mining area in Australia it’s very nice grading.
At least in my limited opinion.

Ftf, the thing is the copper alone is commercial imo, gold and even lots of gold which is hinted at would make it one of the richest areas in the region...I think the good rich area is probably there it's just finding it!

Andrew, thank you for the comment...tbh i am a little confused with the reduced copper gold porphyry conclusion.
I think it fits, as well as boda, some of the northparkes and Ridgeway would fit into this.
However it's difficult to square with a JORC of .44 copper .0064 gold.
As per my blog you tend to get prophecy systems that are either gold or copper rich depending on their formation speed and temperAture. The geo thinks it's a gold heavy because of the mineralisation which shows the temperature as being gold formation rich.....but why then is the JORC so copper heavy???I
We know that this kind of goldcentric mineral formation occurs with the earlier intrusion activity.

Under scenario 2 i make the case for a gold heavy earlier intrusion , what we might well have, is intrusion activity after the initial activity paying down the copper chalcopyrite stockwork.
Maybe some thin tendrils from the earlier intrusion reaching higher, nearthe surface...giving the 8g measurement and the 16m at 0.7gt.
The interesting bit is it the earlier intrusion is more dominant further down hole or whether it's branches off and is yet not found.

It looks like drills 5,6 and 8 are all set to determine some deep bottom width.

Final comment xrf measurements at 3 a metre, are very good 're accuracy...
In truth these grades are very good and slightly better than my conservative thoughts.
It's difficult to see how it's not commercial.

No it's rather annoying tbh. If xtr had them I would guess they would release them as some are very good indeed.

The 8.07 was drilled under the BRC code (14), so would have been bushranger - racecourse.
The does seem to be an increased gold reading on the underside of the intrusion.
Interesting that the copper grades for bushranger are far superior, generally than boda. I would be very happy with some width at say .15-.2 g/t
