Yes — I checked the actual RNS/Form 8.3 filings, and there is evidence of share sales, but it depends which filing you’re referring to.

From the Deltic Energy Form 8.3 disclosure:

* One disclosure shows a sale of 614,979 shares at 7.7p

* Another Form 8.3 position update shows holdings around 1.7 million shares (≈1.87%), but that document itself is mainly a position disclosure (ownership snapshot) rather than just a sale

Please explain why this is good news and share price expected to go to 12p when the disclosure is one where he sold shares at 7.7p so hardly encouraging.

The tax losses alone have a material value to whoever buys the company

Even the accumulated tax losses are multiples of the share price .The company has a significant value for those alone if they can be utilised.

So sad.My losses are more than substantial.

Old adage, buy the rumour sell the news . Looks like it applied today . It’s the publication of the earthquake potential that makes the market for buyout smaller that has frustrated today’s news .

I am too embarrassed to advise my losses here .Suffice it to say substantial. Been here wasted time hoping . Life changing amount gone . We have all been royally screwed. The allowable cumulative losses for taxation purposes vastly exceed the pittance we receive .Expensive lesson for me . Wish I never touched shares . Would be rich .

I truly hope you are correct . All I did was state the facts interms of today’s reaction to Birds news and also the fact that I believe not one of his ventures has ever come good .

Everyone wants a profit . The sad facts are that no one has any faith in Bird . He has lost million of pounds of investors money . He is the only one that’s made money .

Yes some traders have made money . The pittance value and volume of trades following today’s news that Bird is pleased to announce says it all .
