Pre order sales are from kickstarter and their own site, which I think is pretty commendable.
The upper, or Bull case revenue for Elite according to the Broker was set at £9m for 2015, which would imply a breakeven given expected costs.
If Elite can go on to emulate in part, some of the other on-line games such as World of Tanks, then it could be a very healthy contributor to other aspects of the business.
The low base figure for 2016 of £11.4m would deliver a pre-tax profit of circa £4.7m, so it should be interesting to see how things pan out.
My understanding from speaking with the company is that they expect it to be a slow builder but with longevity, so it is not a bad start to date.
