Agree with your take on all aspects BobBobbins. Totally confused with biglittle's thoughts on having to sell much better to meet Broker projections, or he is making it up as he goes along. There are no projections as such, no forecasts from either Broker merely the three base numbers, the lower which was set at £3m for 2015.

As you can see biglittle the thread is titled 2015 and beyond. No doubt there are issues regarding bugs as reported on forums, which in an ongoing evolving game is not surprising and will no doubt continue as is much more is added over time. As for "complaints flooding in" highly questionable terminology, but hey each to their own. What I am surprised with is your apparent trawling of high st stores for elite dangerous. It was never on the agenda at this point in time and if you can reveal where that has been stated I will eat my old hat ! Anyway, back to the thread title, it should be interesting to see where the game is a year or so on. Hopefully as a holder of the shares further progress will be made, despite no doubt further issues along the way. Mirrors life and the stock Market in general I guess.

According to Vicky Carey at Frontier this morning, box set is available ! As for that and playing the game the feedback, represents differing views as demonstrated by the link I popped on and your own feedback. Question for me as a non player but shareholder in Frontier is how well Elite will perform further down the line and what revenue numbers can be achieved over the next couple of years and beyond.

biglittle456. You won't find it in a high st store and Frontier have never said it would be at present. The game is an internet download available via their own site and the only disc offering is part of a box set also available from them. They have hinted that further down the line they would move towards consoles, but that isn't yet and it that has been the case from the outset.

Pre order sales are from kickstarter and their own site, which I think is pretty commendable. The upper, or Bull case revenue for Elite according to the Broker was set at £9m for 2015, which would imply a breakeven given expected costs. If Elite can go on to emulate in part, some of the other on-line games such as World of Tanks, then it could be a very healthy contributor to other aspects of the business. The low base figure for 2016 of £11.4m would deliver a pre-tax profit of circa £4.7m, so it should be interesting to see how things pan out. My understanding from speaking with the company is that they expect it to be a slow builder but with longevity, so it is not a bad start to date.

It should be very interesting to hear the final outcome on the Pre-order numbers and how that may subsequently pan out for the full year, in terms of the various revenue forecasts. Canaccord had scenario analysis ranging from £3m low £6m base and £9m bull for 2015 for Elite. Would be nice to think they could get somewhere near the top.
