SFR in a seriously good position but with copper rocketing and demand minimum of a decade+ run, pal their shares should be $6-7 easily.
If I had some spare lumps of poppy, I would be in for the divi now of almost 4.5% !!
As he just said, the appreciation in their SP is coming so our valuation is obviously going to rise as will our next divi payment !!
If you don’t buy now after what the chairman has said of our largest holding to date, then I think you are likely to regret it. No ramping, just reading !!

On the point of the trade war I think China may find itself in a tricky position. Sentiment isn’t. Exactly pro China at present and I think a lot depends on Biden and if he continues Trumps policy of buying more American goods.
Of course this policy is crappy for lots of other countries who may have been selling those products to China originally.
I suppose depending on how things go with the EU, the worlds biggest retail market may have a say.
My limited example Would be what are the Iron Ore imports currently from Australia and who could replace those if China threw its dummy out ?

Yes I agree with you; due diligence means that what they have seen must be worth doing. After all they aren’t just going to do MTR a favour here because we own @20% of them are they !!
Drill results will boost our NAV and naturally our SP; so longer term this is a better deal for MTR, as long as there is plenty of something in the ground.
That sale on Friday wasn’t a drag on the SP; it wasn't enough of a sale to warrant it.
Quite exciting to hear news on Sunday night if that is when it’s coming; SFR actually up over 4% on Friday which is a first for a long time.
It’s been a very long haul, me only 3 and a bit years, but fingers crossed this will be the moment for us.
For the past months I want to thank Forest for all his tireless posting at all hours of the night and day keeping us all informed, many times before MTR even release an RNS; top banana !
