RE: Could ALRT Become the British Palantir?12 Apr 2026 09:07
We all are holding Defence Holdings PLC because it sits at the intersection of a very powerful trend. That is governments wanting their own secure, domestic AI capability tied directly into defense and national security. That theme is real, funded, and likely to grow for years, so being early in it is not a bad place to be.
What makes ALRT interesting is that it isn’t trying to be just another product company. It’s attempting to position itself as a kind of bridge between emerging AI technologies and defence buyers, which, if it works, could give it a much bigger role than its current size suggests. The fact it’s already getting access to high-level environments, like engagement around 10 Downing Street, suggests it’s at least on the radar, which is often the first step in how defense relationships develop.
If the company converts early engagement into real contracts, the re-rating could be significant. However, the entire case depends on one thing. That is turning positioning into actual business. If those conversations and pilots don’t become signed contracts and growing revenues, then the story doesn’t hold. So staying invested only makes sense if you’re consciously accepting that you’re early, that this is still unproven, and that you’re waiting for confirmation rather than assuming it.
In simple terms, you’re not holding it because it’s already the go-to company. You’re holding it because it might become one, and you’re willing to sit through the uncertainty to see if that happens.
