Maybe they have kept the dividend low as they are investing in the company for the future.

If they fire out a big dividend, your just gonna get everyone jumping on for the Ex-Div date and then selling shortly after.

All that's going to do is throw the up in the air and back down again.

Maybe JD knows this and are preventing it from happening.

So this is the reply I got from HL on why they ain't released my dividend yet.

I used to get them a few days after, buy seems they have changed how and when they release divi's.

As you have chosen to hold your income on account, income will initially be credited to your income account and will be moved across to your capital account on a monthly basis to be used as part of a future trading balance.

I mean, if there was any big announcements, why not mention them last week?

I take nothing in any RNS as fine and dandy.

They said this countless times in Cineworld, and look how that panned out...

I'm in here for the long term, so not overly worried, but still... never take an RNS at face value
