Last week in Oromia region, clashes between the OLA/OLF-Shane and government forces persisted, marked by an increased use of drone strikes by the government.
Most battles occurred in the southern parts of the region. Drone strikes by ENDF were reported in Kersana Malima woreda, South West Shewa zone and near Adola town, East Guji zone.
Heavy fighting between OLA/OLF-Shane and ENDF and Republican Guard operations against the insurgent group were reported in Liben woreda, Guji zone, and Fentale woreda, East Shewa zone, respectively.
The Oromo Liberation Front party condemned the airstrikes, accusing the government of "barbarism and recklessness."

No wonder some creditors haven't signed yet.... obvious why
In December, ACLED records 127 political violence events and 361 reported fatalities in Ethiopia.
"The most political violence in December — with 62 events and 148 reported fatalities — was recorded in Oromia region, where the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) — referred to by the government as the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF)-Shane — clashed with government forces."

the rose tinted brigade can mock and joke about violence carried out against trucks delivering staple food products (not to forget 400+ ehtiopians have died through starvation this month)... but those that are as yet not willing to sign to financing the deal will walk away seeing the conflict is on the rise...

Nothing on today's announcement of the state of emergency in Ethiopia being extended another 4 months in the neighbouring Amhara region, but we cannot expect our copy/paste promoter to tell us bad news, only the good news, and doesn't even have to be news. Good links only.
"lost the argument"... if that thought keeps you happy... then sure
And you expect creditors to lend the money ? yeh right
‘We are ready for a war’ : Somalia threatens conflict with Ethiopia over breakaway region
theguardian.com/world/2024/jan/13/we-are-ready-for-a-war-somalia-threatens-conflict-with-ethiopia-over-breakaway-region
so far, i've been proven right.... you may have just arrived into kefi.. and so feeling ****y that you know it all.... ive been posting warnings for years on this dog of a company.... and in that time pi lemmings like you have come, posted rose tinted guff, countering the realities with hyper rampish b/s... and then eventually disappear.... and in that time value decimated by 90%+.... and dilution from 150m shares to 85 billion shares... and guess what.. i'm still here.... and i will still be here when they issue billions more shares and the share gets consolidated like before, and tanks even more...
Lol... and still you dont get it... if it was in tigray..and likes of you were spouting..'its nowhere near TK', 'its miles away'.... yet Kefi couldnt get the deal wrapped up because of conflict in that region ?
you can take both of your feet out of your mouth now.
Dont sell your holdings... in fact keep buying... you know it makes sense .. especially for kefi losers....
"The difference is finding the info yourself instead of just continually ripping off other posters "
lol... still not getting it.... it's YOU who is "ripping off" other posts/articles, 24/7
You are the typical do as i say, not as i do hypocrite. You create your own rules... and tell others to follow.. conveniently forgetting you exclude yourself from those same rules, citing exceptions for you breaking them.
You stick to your rules, and let others stick to theirs, "mr copy/paste rip off merchant"
You really need to get your facts straight.... the exact same was spouted the last time trouble started in that region.... lemmings like you (and the copy/paste master, rob) were boasting things like.. its miles away from TK.... it's nowhere near TK.... yet what happened ? TK project didnt move on an inch because of the war that was happening 'nowhere near' TK.
keep your head well and truly stuck in the ground..... like 100s if not 1000s of sheeple have been doing for the past 10 years.. all the while crowing how wonderful kefi is doing... and watching the share drop 99%.
"seriously get your own material mate its boring."
case in point
LOL.. says the one who's "own material" consists of nothing but reams and reams of links to web site articles. Self awareness much ?
Dont talk out of you proverbial backside.... your response was the usual presumptive pie in the sky guff... this response to your so called "shot down" post.... is succinct and spot on
"You putting yourself up as some sort of African geopolitical expert is the biggest laugh on this endlessly amusing board. If you knew the slightest thing about any of it you wouldn't be up to your eyeballs in this pile of c*r*a*p*, would you."
Lol.. dopey... you looking at a map made by rose tinted rob ?
where t-f is TK located ? OROMIA
"KEFI's flagship project is Tulu Kapi in the Oromia Region of Western Ethiopia, located approximately 360km due west of Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa."

Ethiopia: Ministry Under Fire - Where Is the Peace?
3 February 2024
Ongoing conflicts in the Oromia and Amhara regions continue to pose significant security risks today. The Ministry has faced criticism on many fronts in the past year especially, with Parliament among those raising eyebrows at the widening gap between conflict and institutionalised response mechanisms. In January the Minister of Peace Binalf Andualem was the subject of fierce reproval from MPs while presenting a half-year report to Parliament, and was scolded for his Ministry's inability to protect civilians from militant groups, arbitrary drone and artillery strikes.
Security on roads connecting the regional state to the rest of the country via Amhara and Oromia regions has been compromised. "We're shut in on three fronts and going in and out has become a never-ending ordeal," said Wolteji Begalo, head of peacebuilding and security for the Benishangul-Gumuz regional administration. Wolteji described a harrowing incident that took place on these roads recently. On January 26th, a convoy of trucks carrying sugar left Asossa but did not make it to their destination. The convoy was forced to stop on a road connecting Benishangul-Gumuz and Oromia, and three of the trucks were hijacked. He said "I am telling you this so that you all know how painful it is becoming for us". The situation according to Wolteji, is grim.
