thanks brad, i am quiet cause not much to say
fnb first national bank of botswana
wonder if the afdb wished for the ppa to be signed. their advisors are working on this project
i was just thinking . it wouldnt make sense to award a 2mw ppa which purpose was to use the gas we currently have when we dont have finances to get anything started. unless they think its gonna take ten years to award the 10mw ppa...so finance should logically follow very quickly
thats the beauty of all of this imo. start small, prove the project with minimal capex required and then expand.
some seem to translate that as: all this for only 2mw?
all i wish now is for tlou to not give out a short term deadline for commercial flows.
thats what seems to be the case, funding arrives another bag here, but we would still be undervalued and not even near the levels we were before we even got the damn pods built lol :P
better than my average woody. currently down 59%
financing news should arrive shortly, depending on the terms of the financing and the amount of course we should see a nice uptick
from memory minesweeper was added to teach people how to use the mouse properly especially left and right clicking of the mouse
i was thinking whether dewatering will continue now, it makes sense it does imho, given the original purpose of the interim ppa was not to waste the gas we are currently producing!?
its also worth considering we are adding solar to the mix this has been requested by potential investors
and solar is the energy of the century :P
i see a people comparing the two projects tlou and nccl on the size of the project
but worth taking into consideration that tlous approach has always been to start small to mitigate risk
the funding that should arrive shortly will allow us to build everything necessary to get connected to the grid
plans and surveys have already been made by tlou. its all about getting connected to the grid as we have quite a massive resource on the ground here
excellent news.
it seems to me financing will follow soon as well as per rns.
sorry bard the ustda has not disclosed the amount they paid
i think once both parties have enough data to assess whether the project will be commercial or not, it shouldnt be an issue to get financing and ppa done. certainly an element of risk is there its all about minimizing it imho
kalahari energy's announcement over finance covered the ppa talks with the government as well
brad i dont think the ppa is gonna be dependant on gas flow rates, if it were the government would not be having talks with kalahari at this stage dont you think?
thats the message i got from it as well. if yanks are gonna support kalaharis project without having a clue about flow rates then we should have no difficulty getting the finance sorted
ok done
hi minor i am on twitter tlou group btw using my real name on twitter as the previous account got banned :(
but i can not message you, i am following you though
i have to say this is getting pretty ridiculous now.
the one reason i bought in here and decided to hold is because the messages put froth by the bod etc finance, gas flows and ppa by end of last year
they have not achieved any of those whether its due to their fault or not i dont really care. what i care about is how misleading their statements have been. whats worse is we have gone from gas flow rates looking promising to its gonna take considerable time and we need more wells. we are talking probably around 4 to 6 months AFTER the financing comes through...
https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20200324/pdf/44gbg9lwwb330p.pdf
this is quite annoying, we were supposed to have gas flows by end of last year, now its gone to "it will take considerable time"
but i like what the bod is doing, showing they are aligned with shareholders, wish there was a better way to predict the outcome ...
ups i only put 1billion and forget about it lol
