Few posts on the lonmin hat last night regards a question that I asked. To early in the morning to fully understand the answers but like anything it's a risk but I don't think it will be another oilex .

So basically you will end up with the same number of shares in sibanye but with a company that is worth a lot more money but if the deal doesn't go ahead then it looks bad for lonmin.
I guess the punt is, will the SP rise on the go ahead of the deal and jumping out before the exchange of shares into the new company. What I have noticed with lonmin is the swing in share price recently that you can make money on, I don't think it will be another oilex shooting up X3 but I do see 30% in the price if it gets over 60p

It looks like if your holding after completion, Your getting a share thats fallen more that half its value.

I was in this share last December but sold out and noticed that its still not comple, But anyone holding share in Lonmin will have their shares transfered to Sibanye stillwater at a rate of 11% but is that 11% of what the share price was in December or on completion date?

With Sibanye stillwater SP falling to under half in the last 12 months, How will this effect the Share holders?

This has been going on for 11 months now with Lonmin been bought out by Sibanye-Stillwater's which is still not gone through

Lonmin and Sibanye shareholders have to vote their approval of the transaction that will give Lonmin shareholders 11% of the merged companies.

Managements of both companies have said they expect the deal to be finalised before the end of 2018

When i was working, My friend and i used to play the market, back in those days, no internet, so could not research why a share has fallen
I has been over to Barbados and noticed a furnisher store called courts and i also knew that they had stores in the UK

Anyways, me and my mate was sitting in the canteen looking at the share prices in the times and i noticed courts and the massive drop, So i told my friend that courts had stores in the Caribbean, so he decided to put about 10K into the company, So on the Monday he bought the shares, By Thursday the company went into administration and my mate lost is 10K, so Regards Carpet right, Mmmmm Maybe it might turn out to be another courts.... But Hey, Dont let me put you off. I am watching Lonmin and looking at 40p buy in. Will look at the other 3
