Engines will always need servicing and is controlled by flying hours but stationary engines will need readiness check for sure

Rolls Royce has probably been planning there recovery strategically since before the first lockdown. They will survive and return to some strength.
It will of course take time and patience. I am not quitting on this and if fact should be buying more.
If you think about it life has at some point has to get to a point of normal. As such people will slowly get about there business. It cannot be rushed however.

My comments weren’t an attack of this great institution (I worked for them 40 years) I was answering the question of shutting down for two weeks and machines failing to start etc.
Very few machines to worry about .....

Whilst RR does have some manufacturing facilities for specialist parts it relies heavy on purchasing out and subcontract engineering. They haven’t got factories full of machines since the nineties onwards. Largely assembly and test

Well I thought it was time in expressed my disappointment with this share of late.
Been a holder on and off for years since being advised by a good friend. Made some good returns also. What is happening !! There is no good reason or justification in my opinion dyor.

Yes 50 years ago today Rolls Royce called in the receivers and was rescued by the government.
Still here guys and will survive. It is the biggest challenge since then.This company will come back it needs time. Come on you beauty
