I find it a little frustrating sometimes that people think they either supply cars or take people on holiday …..to bucket and spade resorts only.

Think what the company does and it’s strategic goals and then in my opinion it’s a no brainer that in the medium long term it’s a goer……

Surly you would sell on a big day for the FTSE as price would be higher all things being equal…..

I understand what you are asking but it’s very difficult to answer really.
Changes in life etc makes it an open situation.
My finances are looked after by my adviser but I have
Liquid cash that enables us to live
You have not mentioned changing cars or house moves or kids wanting help.
Medical needs and helping friends if they need it. Life to me is not that black and white.
There really is no answer. But I consider 5-6 %return on my tied up cash ok and my play such as shares and living is what it is.
