For Cu in the ground - absolutely.
I think with such a prospective asset in a time of heightened acquistions, we were always going to have a number of majors sniffing around. That's not to say what we have wont result in a JV. It undoubtedly will but which target exactly? We want to go it alone with Cheyeza West and Lumbeta ideally for obvious reasons. Perhaps the JV will be tied in with one of the other target areas? who knows.
All to be seen and i'm very confident with Nick at the helm he will get a great deal but like he has said in the past, he is in no rush here. Saying that, none of us are getting any younger!
With regards to the CSD plant, he is clearly very frustrated with the delay in delivering the materials but it'll happen soon. Just got to be patient with these things.
OK well I suppose it can be viewed as a positive i.e. perhaps forced seller etc.
Let’s hope the shackles are released soon.
Think we’ll slowly build as each stage of this business that Brian is building is derisked and when we see cash in the form of a production asset or a farm down.
I think the reason for the somewhat muted response today is a) slight initial confusion as to whether the RNS was good news (now we KNOW it is excellent news) b) market waiting for result on Colter North.
Saying this I’d like to think we might see some nice appreciation in between as the market takes in this news and realises that the original target has been derisked.
Loads to play for!
Definitely agree that it's positive if you want to load up though. I truly believe our day is coming. A firm and positive farm down RNS will shift it no doubt, as I hope will the RNS in 2 weeks time telling us the details on Colter!
Not aimed at you Levi but getting rather frustrated with talk of a seller in every stock I hold. Unless there is some specific evidence (not sure rounded number trades count?!) i'd rather put it down to market dynamics, market disappointment with Colibri RNS (not sure why as it derisks hugely and opens up conversations with super majors) and general market for non-revenue generating microcaps.
Spot on Superjim. It's a fanastic outcome for UOG as BL says many times (as did the RBD CEO too). We should be trading 20% higher at least today on that news. Had the RNS been worded slightly differently i imagine that would be the case!
So much to be excited about here. I look forward to the numerous announcements on the horizon including the various farm downs on Crown/Jamaica but also the big one landing - we know he loves M&A and is working on a production asset now. Can't be long away now....
Weekend selloff? @ChinaBlue
There was a link on the recent RNS but it doesnt seem to be working but it is this one which he also refers to in the article by Total Market Solutions (last line):
A small portion of the proceeds will also be allocated to Kalaba, where Arc is currently completing an 11,000m diamond and reverse circulation drilling programme. Much of this work has already completed, with encouraging results released to the market throughout the back end of 2018. These have shown boasted disseminated cobalt throughout the prospect and varying copper grades averaging between 0.3pc and 0.5pc. However, von Schirnding tells us that there remains one final prospect that Arc wishes to investigate in the north-east of the area.
I'm quite excited about this anomoly to the north east of Kalaba. Think we could have another reshuffle with the revised targets?!
Good enough for me ;)
Over the past nine months the Company has made excellent progress with the construction of the Plant. During November 2018, the technical team completed the front end of the plant comprising the two crusher units, screens, a ball mill and conveyors. This section has been completed and successfully commissioned in December 2018 and has an initial capacity to process 10,000 tonnes per month. The back end of the plant is due to commission in the next week and initial production is scheduled to commence shortly thereafter.
A very well measured move by NvS to carry out the extensive 28k soil sampling programme coupled with the aeromag survey. We now have an asset 10x the size of Kalaba which in itself may not be 'the motherload' but is still a world class asset (just need to look over the fence at Sentinel mine to see that a lower grade discovery can become a multi $bn mine).
Looking forward now to a Sturec sale with the 3 'serious buyers' which i think is closer than Casa given the political disrutions. I do not think it will have detered the Chinese too much, however.
At least with the very imminent production from the processing plant which will be used to feed ore from Kalaba, we are in a very strong position to a) reject any low ball offers and b) start cranking up drilling for the 2 new discoveries (even better with the sale of non-core assets of course).
Next we should hear back on infill sampling from Cheyeza and Lumbeta at 50m intervals which should be very exciting.
Regarding Cheyeza West, as NvS said very enthusistically, "WATCH THIS SPACE!" It is a very good time to be buying in my opinion. Personally i think we'll see a nice steady rise back up to 5p in the coming weeks. Good luck all.
Yes, thank you Amnesic. Your knowledge and info sharing was extremely useful and well received by all. Now if you could do the same as she moves south to Colter that would be very much appreciated.......I think there is a career in there for you somewhere.
Great stuff today and long overdue given the risked NPV alone. I look forward to Colter next but I will, of course, be holding here long term and have a fair whack of my SIPP invested for that horizon. Are we potentially seeing the market taking a position for both Colter but perhaps more so the 'transformational' deal that Brian has talked about for a while? We all know, after a great deal of DD, that he and James pulled out of the last one after going deeper. With Graham Martin on board, absolutely anything is possible!
Added to this I would not be surprised to see a massive uplift in user numbers mad total votes in the post Christmas period. Would be happy if they got to 3m by March x this by $100 or less and you have a valuation. Check out articles on league of legends and take a look at viewing figures for twitch TV to appreciate the scale of the market.
GFINITY Not a bad question, I think that the IPO was priced to go though and they have been very quiet about the stock floating at a subdued time a lot to come especially if my opinions below are vaguely accurate. I would value a company like this upon a far higher per user metric than the $100 per users typically associated with top drawer social media companies (even pre-revenue). Expect to see a huge increase in registered users for GFIN and along with this the company making good use of opportunities to monetise their platform. Do not underestimate the involvement of stakeholder Pitch International who are likely to begin bringing 7 & 8 figure sponsorship and marketing revenues to the table as the user numbers and popularity of the GFIN platform grows. There are of course other ways to generate revenue with sales and merchandising and entry fees not insignificant but key at the moment is to leave all this to one side and concentrate upon growing their user base into the millions and developing their relationships with the likes of Xbox, Sony, Sky TV, Fox and last but not least the game publishers and superstars of the very games themselves.
Hope everyone here has read Wrightman's links he has posted some good stuff which explains bigger picture pretty well. GFIN may very well earn tens of millions in due course. Not Bad for a £20m market cap company!
Looks like this one will be another solid stock from the Akers stable. We have only just got going here. Guess many brokers don't even have this on their systems yet!
See Wrightman's posts on Twitter, he has analysed this play pretty well. Must say that Pitch International getting involved could be huge. Look at the clients they have on board www.pitchinternational.com Nice to be in here early and happy with just this and BOOM for rest of year
Last year 71million people watched eSports. 40m tuned in to watch one single tournament in Korea alone. GFIN will be massive, absolutely massive!
Am in too had to do a telephone deal and pay more but it will be worth it can see a great valuation coming especially with momentum coming from the big boys behind this.
