Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Planit, if you were a long time investor you would know the dividend was halved during worrying times during the Pandemic.
Alot of share holders bought into BP at current levels pre Covid, so the recent rises in share price is only at break even levels.
If you were lucky to buy at depressed levels Bully to you, but some people saw massive losses to shareholders value and recieved dividend. Now we are making sizable profits, personally I would like my pension back.
Cheers.

Because after nearly 30 years of investing I have like to listen to everyone's opinion, even yours. Over the last 3 years we have had some quite nasty and spiteful comments directed at posters with different opinions. Now Looney has realised his errors may we all look forward to many years of prosperity with our investments. Cheers.
JCB in the UK are leading hydrogen development technology for use within internal combustion engines within their industrial machinery.
YouTube has numerous JCB videos explaining how this is achieved.
Charlie, a lot has happened to the economic environment and certainly the profitability of the company since Looney anounced his dividend policy.
Couldn't he be a little more generous with the shareholders.
Cheers.
Y11-shx, although I don't necessarily agree with your posts I value reading your argument.
Hopefully Mr Looney (he/him) will substantially increase the dividend this year. If so this will keep the share price buoyant.
Is this for real; wouldn't it be a complete betrayal of people who have saved for retirement in Government set up saving schemes.
What about people who already have more money invested in a share Isa ?
Bit early for 1st April.

Fantastic video from JCB showing their development of Hydrogen powered excavators. This is surely the future for HGV transport, certainly in cities. The hydrogen engine is mearly a redesigned diesel engine. As hydrogen is so explosive they run extra lean at 1 part hydrogen to 100 air.
Let's all hope Santa bring us all a nice big divi increase in the new year, with full reinstatement of the pre Covid dividend.
It's been approx 3 years now since Bernard planted his Green garden. In 2023 we should start to see the green shoots and hear about substantial progress.
Compliments of the season to all on this board.
Merry Christmas.
I've had my head in an ice bucket all day.
While Exxon is expanding oil and gas, Looney wastes shareholder money again with a ridiculous overpriced renewables purchase. This is getting desperate, the man is a disaster. How much more money can he waste, and how much more value to the company can he loose. The truth is he is trying to build a mammoth renewables business built on oil profits with only wishful thinking as to the end result. When will we see a shareholders revolt to remove this ridiculous man.
Without this green crap the share price would probably be North of £6.50 today.
Imo
Which of the following are the primary drivers of the share price:-

A delicious prospect, an oil and gas friendly administration in the White House. Trump / DeSantis the dream ticket. We might even get a trade deal.
I do think the democrats are keeping the strategic reserves tap open to keep the oil price down with the upcoming mid term elections in mind.
