How, as property owners, do they get away without legal redress when they slate companies, accuse directors, trash people's investments? Even if they were approached, they would not reveal their sources. From the second a 'sounding' commences, there is a chain of communication and it matters nit which broker is used, that communication has to be put into motion. Redress from a leak would need to be aimed at a brokerage or someone high up for it to be seriously addressed and even if that were the case, it would all be swept under the carpet with non-disclosure agreements to ensure the damage was limited. We will never know why that 'Decisions' bloke was not outed, but I presume legal advice on this matter was followed.

No Mirasol, it is not someone close to the company, it is someone within the broker chain. The leaks are ALWAYS after the information has been passed to the brokers. If they were from within the company, the AIM authorities would be all over them. All these leaks and the only accusations against the board come from people like you who feel the need to keep disparaging the directors. Selfish, one of the issues about going to all the expense of revealing the people behind the avatars is what you do to them. In general, it's an apology at best or potentially a cash to charity donation. In this case however, I believe some of these names may be linked to the likes of Tom Winnifrith and potentially a can of worms could be unveiled, Shareholders want something done, these leaks are getting ridiculous and a big shake up is required. I hope the company do it.

Funny how a certain group of posters all seem to support each other in hammering this stock, constant attacks on the Exec Chair, then when good news comes out, they disappear. There's a game being played here. Winnifrith confirms placing, Brailey backs him with a negative article, then new names appear here joining his 'team' . As soon as the SP is as low as they think they can get it, the new pro-UJO'ers appear and join in pumping it back up. Rinse and repeat.

The revenues over the next 10+ years could have been multiples of the investment value. Ignorance breeds fear and hatred and in this case, in my opinion, the intention to use some of the placing cash to purchase additional royalties caused a lot of upset in the uninformed. It would appear for many years, the board of directors have been focusing on acquiring interests in a number of prospects that offer a good chance of success, Keddington is pumping oil, Fiskerton is pumping oil and so is Wressle. The revenues from these assets make the company profitable. In fact, there is going to be a substantial amount of cash coming in every month going forward.

Salaries are, and have not been overly high, in fact, they are considerably lower than most other CEO's and directors in this industry and to top that, the board of Union Jack are not of an age by where they need to screw the company for cash.

There has been a lot of abuse thrown at DB for this placing and the fact it was leaked. There was a strong feeling of distaste that some of the money was going towards increasing the royalties.

I would like to know just how much this has cost the company by cancelling the deal as I feel the deal would have been very lucrative over the coming years, working with major industry companies, seemed like money for old rope. It's not as though the royalties were relying on a group of shi*ty AIM companies, these revenues would be coming from the majors involved in North Sea Oil.

The big concern at the moment is West Newton where no sign of a flow has been seen or announced and admittedly the timescale is worrying. However, Union Jack Oil has a multitude of assets to continue with. It is not reliant, like its JV partners on the success of West Newton. They have a few assets that could swiftly be taken to production, increasing their already profitable income. I believe UJO will be 'made live' very soon and begin to rise above Egdon, Reabold and Europa to become the 'major' amongst them.

Heid, take away the people here with an agenda to drag sentiment down along with the SP, remove a few that just shouldn't be investing in high risk stocks and there would only be half a dozen posts every day lol. How many are not even invested here? This company has turned a corner and personally I am far more confident in the other assets than West Newton. They are the more easily, lower cost developments that will facilitate far quicker revenue returns. It won't be long before Union Jack will be making £10,000,000 every year and in a fantastic position to increase this substantially. DB has made this a long term, safer than most investment imo.

Look at Wressle for example, the oil discovery is exceptional, the revenues now are far exceeding those expected and DB has quietly increased the interest to a now 40% share of a likely 750 barrels of oil+ per day. Nobody can lay the blame for the council's ridiculous planning decisions at his door. On this one investment, the company is now a profitable, revenue generating producer.

With West Newton, geo confirmed substantial oil/gas shows, logs backed this up. On that basis, an investment is a good and worth the risk gamble. Still under test, if either the gas or oil can be proven commercial, the financial status of the company will be outstanding. It's not as though there has been a strong confidence in success her by the operators Rathlin and the partners, Reabold.

Biscathorpe has been described as potentially the biggest hydrocarbon discovery in the UK and again, DB has been quietly increasing the company's interest here. The same foes for Keddington and other pending producing assets.

All this costs time and money and so yeah, nobody likes a placing, but the company, unlike many of its peers, is debt free, producing, owed cash by its operator and that is as much as anyone can expect.

Don't discount Wressle as a short term oil production well as some on here try and suggest, it has tremendous scope for massive increases in oil and gas.

Wressle is free flowing almost 1000 barrels of oil equivalent PER DAY. Keddington is contributing a further 25+ and Fiskerton a few.

Wressle pressures so great the oil flow is being severely restricted and there are no water shows. This is one serious producer.

I am hoping they move to Keddington next where they can easily and at low cost drill a side track. Potentially 300 barrels per day and what if they do a proppant squeeze there too?

Union Jack is far from a one trick pony and these people trying to lower the value and potential here are working to an agenda.

This planning meeting was made on behalf of Rathlin Energy for a future increase in wells.

The testing and potential production continues at the A2 site. It is unaffected by today’s decision which will be appealed and prove very costly to the council. Meanwhile Wressle continues to free flow an abundance of oil, WNA2 could soon be revealing it’s wares and Keddington and Biscathorpe development pending. UJO not going to be crying into their soup over today’s decision. Just a blip.

EDR don't attract the 'low life' because the shares have no liquidity. The bulletin board has no life and the management of no interest!

surely that is purely the 'intention' at the time of the placing, one of many 'intentions'. Some take priority over others and things fall behind. Seems to me the money has to date been well spent on Wressle, invested into West Newton which is still pending. I believe work has been done on Biscathorpe, just not the side track. With the cash coming in from Wressle, they could still postpone Biscathorpe to side track Keddington. Personally I would prefer they work on the easiest cash generating projects and build a strong revenue stream first. Keddington could easily return 300 barrels per day, 165 to Union Jack, throw that together with 300 barrels from Wressle (based on 750 a day) is equal to approx $35,000 per day, almost $13,000,000 a year. Makes more sense to generate cash first. Imo

when it comes to operational plans. They never get leaked, so in my opinion any leaks come after the info has been passed to a third party. What's next, Biscathorpe or Keddington? Both have the ability to increase revenues although I would guess that Keddington would be the cheapest and most likely to return an oil flow. As I said earlier, I feel the company have turned a corner now. They are a producer and producing a lot of oil for a junior. The company quote was that it was second only to Wytch Farm in daily production. Just how much oil this site can return is what is the exciting part to me because it seems as though almost a 1000 boepd is possible now on a restriced choke. Is 2000 possible? We could be looking at a presently very underrated asset.
