The speculation around Cosmen's potentially taking up is based on their increased stake to 23% over the last few weeks. Is this just a rumour or is there anything to ascertain this please?

I have put a chunk in this on Friday and my research will determine whether to put more in.

Having had some further time to research into the financials today, I have had look at the previous years annual reports since 2019. I can see that the number of shares in issue have remained the same so dilution has not been an issue.

Based on the last 5 year's performance (including the exception in 2020 due to Covid), I cannot understand the huge drop in SP in 2023 especially when this hit £3.16 in 2021.

I am thinking of buying into CCL based on the stellar results last week! Currently doing some research and I can see it was trading about £30 a share prior to covid. Has there been any placing since then? I am just trying to determine and put the MC into perspective.

I envisage we are on an upward trend despite the minor blip today.

After a diabolical week with COPL, I got out .66p nursing a big loss. Despite any potential positive news (although I doubt it), the lack of management integrity and accountability will remain forever. I’ve learnt an expensive lesson that all the board are a bunch of to*sers.

@rosbswire - I am new to MMAG and just trying to understand the value in your comment. Based on the report last year and the results today, they can easily meet the debt convenant.

The financials look very optimistic!

"The Group presently meets its day-to-day working capital requirements through cash reserves and its bank facilities which are subject to various facility limits and covenants. The Directors have reviewed the trading and cash flow forecasts for the 12-month period from the date of approval of the financial statements as part of their going concern assessment and having incorporated reasonable downside sensitivities have confirmed that the Group will be able to continue to meet quarterly covenant tests and remain within the borrowing limits set out within its bank facility agreement."

Definitely see value in this given the drop in last 12 months and especially with no equity placing in the last year. MC is too low.

Looking at the chart, why did it fall so much over the last few months?

Of course, I understand the spike and drop regarding the BT offer in November, but intrigued to know why it has fallen to these levels.
