So I have derisked my position here this afternoon. Sold half my holding at a loss.

So it goes up and exceeds 2.75p, I will start to recover my losses in here. And if there are delays or no permit, I can average down.

Mongolia ranks 119 out of 183 countries surveyed in the Doing Business 2012 “Dealing with Construction Permits” ranking. Dealing with construction permits in Mongolia is a cumbersome and complex process involving 19 procedures, 208 days, and more than 12 different agencies and authorities. In comparison, in Georgia it takes 9 procedures and only 74 days. Breaking this down, in Mongolia it takes 10 procedures, 155 days, and dealing with a least 8 agencies just to reach the point of getting the license “to engage in construction works” (i.e. permission to build). Basic services connections and inspections add another 39 days, and registering the building in the real estate registry takes an extraordinary 14 days. By contrast, it takes Georgia 3 procedures and 41 days, involving only two agencies, to obtain the permission to build. Then only 32 days for services connections and inspections, and 1 day to register the building are required.

Surely, you would think though there is a spike due.

Unfortunately, I learnt my lesson from HZM who were backed by Glencore and also COPL.

I was in GGP back in 2021/22 but will look to buy in the next few weeks once the massive churn gets through.

Deep down, I do feel for everyone as it is not nice to see a 30% decline in SP despite whatever the future value of the company. The true valuation will only occur once the new shares have been churned, but only when the deal is completed.

I feel for you especially when it rose to high 30s in 2020. It feels like back to square one in terms of shareholder value.
